Salsa's Fresh Mex Grill reviews
14The Baja steak burrito is soooo good. Extremely value for the price. Stuffed with delicious rice, perfectly seasoned slightly spicy steak l, sauce, lettuce and tomatoes.
I got a chicken and guac burrito bowl and whilst I enjoy this as a non onion eater I really loathe how chunky the red onion pieces are in the guacamole (though on the plus side it does make them somewhat easy to pick out!). There’s no rice or beans in this bowl so it’s a really healthy option
For 12 $ you get a small burrito filled by rice 70%. Tasted bad like eating rice and bread together.
Decided to see how many times you could ruin my day in one week. Seems like simple Mexican is complex science to you.
Day 1 - From waiting 20 minutes to eat, name under 'Maddy' when I clearly said ALICE. My lunch break was over by then.
Day 2 - ordered online to give them extra time to make my order.came to pick up only to see they've ignored it.
Day 3 - 90% of my meal is just iceberg lettuce.leaving me still hungry after paying the $20 for a drink and bowl.
Day 4 - Found hair all through my meal, threw it away immediately.
Day 5 - Didn't bother. Walked the 20 minutes to Mad Mex. This is such a failure of a franchise. I'm assuming food poisoning will be next. Please shut down and stop putting people in actual danger of disease and sickness.
The food was stale and chips like reheated and rubbery soggy sort of. Didn’t end up eating the chips unfortunately.
I got the chicken fajita burrito, very sketchy chicken, had the texture of raw but looked super brown similar to beef, lady who took my order barely spoke English, overall really gross place wouldn't recommend please take your hungry tummy elsewhere.
Ordered the baja steak bowl, holy guac nachos and mexicrinkle box from Salsa’s through Ubereats. Their chips used to be a favourite, but this time around the mexicrinkle box was only half full, and the chips were not well covered in their flavourful seasoning. The baja steak bowl was pretty good but the portion was tiny. The guac nachos had pretty generous toppings but most of the corn chips were soggy because they were mixed in the nachos. Having said all that, they seem to be the last standing Salsa’s in the CBD, so would definitely return!
I was there today to recieve an order and the lady who seems like south asian was really good, as the costumer service is fast and good.
Pretty average service, nothing extra.
Pricey
Inconsistent quantity
For example- little or no broccoli in the mucho veggie once
Did not provide sour cream separately in a small container upon request though asked for it
Didn’t put the food in the brown bag for a take away
Chicken burrito vastly inferior to mad mex at southern cross station. Was 30-50% plain white rice without much flavor. Only the last party had the meat and flavor, and even then not as good as mad mex. Avoid.
Got a deal from mealpal for a chicken fajitas.
The sandwich was so small and didn't mentioned in the deal, taste was not good, a bit under flavor because the sandwich was filled by mostly rice which had no flavor, tortilla bread was still raw and didn't cook yet.
It was very disappointing to pay 7 dollar for a kid size sandwich, not sure how much normal price would be?
Never go back there again
Easily the most DISASTROUS place I've ever ordered food in 25 years. These guys need to be run out of business as soon as possible, stay away from this DUMP of a restaurant. Go anywhere in the city but here. Look at the other reviews, these guys are absolutely PATHETIC at their job
Ordered chicken fajita burrito bowl and chips. Could barely see any chicken and vegies plus the rice was overcooked. Chips were average. Do not recommend.
This place is absolutely awful. Cheap, clumpy rice and no flavour in the food. The guac was brown and old. Would give it zero if I could.
