Salmon Head Sushi Camberwell is a small cosy boutique cuisinere in Camberwell Road, just off Camberwell Junction, specialising in Japanese meals.
They are served promptly hot and fresh from the stove, expertly prepared and beautifully presented in comfortable homely surrounds.
A wonderfully quiet experience, value timewise, in serene and pleasant atmosphere, served by pleasantly congenital staff and cook.

This was my favourite local place to get salmon on rice. Unfortunately the last time I ordered, there was less salmon pieces and they were sliced thinner than usual. I was disappointed.

Flavour was still good but quantity was a lot less than what it used to be.

Super reasonable pricing, delicious and fresh sushi made on request! Staff are very friendly and helpful, and their opening hours are exceptionally convenient! Have already had over 6 platters from them and will certainly continue returning. Highly, highly recommend!

This is one of the best sushi I've ever eaten. Staff is also very nice and I never had any problem with my orders. We ordered twice the big sushi platter (80 pieces) and it was delicious and had a lot of different types of sushi rolls. Highly recommended

Definitely worth visiting. Prices are reasonable with quality ingredients. I ordered a $12 raw salmon rice bowl and the salmon slices were so fresh. Although the shop is not big, they still have a few tables inside available for dine in. Will return to try other items on the menu.

Second time we ordered from here- salmon nigiri fresh and grilled and teriyaki salmon nigiri. Super fresh and a nice amount of ginger and wasabi. Love it and will be back ️

Give this place a miss. Ordered them because has high rating on Uber Eats. Their “Assorted sushi” for $16.50 is actually just four conventional hand rolls (the ones that cost about $2.50 everywhere) cut up into small pieces. Called to complain and they argued that it was sushi. The cooked tuna “sushi” tasted gross. None of it seemed fresh. Their prawn tempura was also a rip-off. Skinny, bland deep-fried trash. Not Japanese-run. You can tell.

Ordered a Poke Salmon Bowl, turned out only 5 small pieces of salmon cube, and not fresh. Poor quality, very small portion of Salmon but a large portion of rice, charged $20 for this. Won't come back again!

Ordered from Salmon Head a few times now and the food and service never disappoint. Food is prepared promptly and ready to be picked up shortly after ordering. The fish is fresh and portion is just right.

We had enjoyed a delicious quick lunch at Salmon Head Sushi yesterday. Sushi are delicious and sashimi are fresh. Their miso soup is really great too! Though the place is not too big, it is very clean and the owners are very friendly. We'll recommend it to our friends and family members!

It was delicious and fresh. The tempura was nice, not like other sushi places they putting half of prawn and the rest is breadcrumbs. I will definitely come back.
