Salesian College Chadstone - Boys Secondary School reviews
23 My son attended Salesian college for 6 years and have been so happy and blessed to have him experience his high school journey at Salesian college.
He has received the best support, dedication and learning from his teachers and staff who instil great values and leadership. I am proud of my son completing his whole six years at Salesian and feel happy with his achievements and look forward to his next journey in life. Thank you and God Bless.
We have had our 2 sons go to Salesian and could not be happier. Great culture and learning environment. Teaching we found was of the highest quality. There is a real comeraderie and school spirit displayed by the boys particularly at house sports. The school is about creating great men that are caring. Where everyone is welcome and encouraged to be their best. Highly recommended for your son's.
It was a great school, so many great people and teachers here, sadely i was only here until year 9, but i will always remeber salesian for all the teachers and friends i have met
I was only there for Year 7 and Year 8, but it was a great school with some very caring and helpful teachers. The pastors were very caring to their students regardless of whether they were Roman Catholic or not.
The only thing I would criticise is that when I was in the accelerated class in Year 8, I feel that I received too much work for a Week 8. An accelerated class should provide more challenging/advanced work, not simply deliver a higher work load. However, I am not sure whether this has changed or not.
As a student at the school it respects all races as best they can and they have a lot of learning space at your fingertips
During this corona situation students are expected to attend school while still have to do an online course which makes no sense at all because no teachers are attending school so the student have to sit there alone doing "online work"
Great school my daughter loved it there, she came back as a boy though don't know how that happened.
10/10 will send my younger daughter
Been a blast for me! Made tonnes of friends, and had a positive year! A lot of teachers were nice too! A bit overpriced laptops however they were worth it. If you want you can try out for the Biretta (smart) class, or the Sports Academy!
Great place, my favourite part was the lasagna de beans (lasagna but instead of meat there are beans) favourite item on the menu. They play shrek on the tv 24/7 plus they’ve promised to be the first place in Australia to screen Shrek 5. Can’t wait until February! Only downside is that they don’t do all day bean breakfast. Kinda disappointed in that respect but otherwise a great school.
Its alright its got good food and stuff i go there now and im currently in year 8 and i think its a good school not the best but a good school
The school has become an absouloute joke, with majority of the decent teachers having left. Some of the new teachers are absoulutely laughable. Specially the year 11 physics female teacher is a big insult to the education system. This school should get it act together and review the teachers and also is there even qualification check before a teacher is hired? Some of the teachers lack the basic common sense and knowledge of the subject they are teaching.
I attended this school in year 7 to find out i was the only girl, i was quite devisated and felt unwelcome.seemed like a good school for boys though:)
My friends have attended this school coming from primary school. They now are extremely disruptive and rude, this indicates the terrible environment that this school portrays. They used to be supportive and friendly.
I heard all of the dropouts didn't really dropout and instead went to mckinnon secondary college.damn
Superb holistic experience and education for our son, educators are caring from top-down and you can see the students are generally quite happy there.
I currently go to this school and it is pretty good the staff are nice and the food here is amazing
I would say this is the best school I attended. Sadly, I only got to experience one year of this beautiful college in year 7. The only downfall is that there were no girls at the school. Because of this I changed schools to St.johns Regional college. Their education system at Salesian was just beautiful much better than St.johns. I wish I never left. Best of luck to families looking for the right place to go. Yours sincerely, Buay.
This school is incredible. It truly lives up to the hype. It is great. I like it quite a bit. It is better than most schools out there. I attended this school back in 1974. I enjoyed it a lot.
I really enjoyed shopping here, i am lactose intolerant as well as allergic to sugar but they were still able to help me find plenty of things i could eat.such as some delicious BEANS i just had to go back for.
School tryna be something they arent apparenty we are melbourne high and vcal teachers r tryna change the meaning of vcal! Dont come here as a student of this college
