Unbelievable-changed battry here for my Tissot watch for around $30 but only lasted for months, now my watch's totally dead. I had battery replaced before at Geelong shop and it lasted me for years. Strongly suspicious if they replaced with a fake and poor quality battery. Very upset now. Zero star for the battery. One star go for the reception ladies - they're nice and friendly.

PS: In response to the owner's response:
YES I DID have the battery replaced at your store earlier last year for around $30 (Sorry the exact figure I didn't remember - maybe $28 or $38). I still remember the man who charged me told me to come back in 30 minutes. He was friendly, and the watch was ready and worked again when I came back in 30 minutes. I was told it should last me for a couple of years - which was true with my 1st battery replacement in Geelong shop. But this time my watch stopped working before last Christmas. So your battery only lasted me for about 6 months? I should have kept the receipt if I expected there would be such a problem - I was too confident as the one replaced in Geelong did last me for years, and I was expecting the same thing so I didn't keep the receipt.
I was too busy in the last few months and totally forgot this issue until recently I saw Tissot in Myer Melbourne City store. I asked the retailer there about the battery and was told it should last me for years if the battery replaced is good and authentic ones. I don't know what to do now. To go back to your store (Shall I trust you any more?), or go to the Tissot retailer in the City?
Will the battery tell you anything of the record if I bring back my watch to have you check it again? I won't remove this review until it's solved.

Hi Salera, I have recently had the pleasure of visiting your store in Southland for service and sales. The team I met there - Michelle, Amanda and Jess - were absolutely first class. Warm, engaging, empathetic and knowledgeable, each was a delight to deal with. I will be back!

Poor experience in store, rude staff member. Contacted Saleras headoffice about the interaction, with no response. Will not be back.

Such a wonderful customer experience today, I had spent the afternoon trying to repair my necklace and was denied by multiple different jewellers. I was greeted with a warm welcome when I entered the store. The ladies were able to repair my necklace promptly, making it look like new. Very happy and grateful!

I was asked to be a Godfather and left it to the last minute to purchase a chain and pendant. I don't wear jewellery and had no idea what would be suitable. After shopping around at a few other jewellery stores in Southland, I still had no idea and became more confused. My last stop was Salera's. The service I received from Amanda, Mary and Jess was outstanding. Together we played a little process of elimination to select the perfect combination and I'm so happy with the final decision. I'm also confident my Godson's picky parents will be delighted. Thanks again ladies, couldn't have done it without you.

Sorry its taken me a couple of weeks but I have to mention how wonderful the staff are at salara's southland are. Not only did they go above and beyond to help me get my sister's georgini necklace before her bday during covid and dealing with skeleton staff they made sure i was also up to date with the progress. Fantastic customer service would recommend to anyone, definitely going back for their services. Thank you.

Very disappointed with Saleras.

My wife gave them 2 rings that needed to be resized and we were told they would take a maximum of 2-3 weeks to do the job.

4 weeks later and they are still not available for pick up.

We had a formal occasion last night that my wife was desperate to wear her rings at - We were told the rings COULD be picked up at the city store so I dont understand why Salera didnt courier them to Southland given that they were already a week late and we needed them urgently.

The only option given to us was "collect them yourself from the city store".

I tried to do this however parking is non-existant anywhere near the store so I could not go in.

My wife ended up attending the function without her wedding rings.

Poor service in every respect Saleras!

It’s really uncomfortable when the stuff start packing up the store and covering all the displays with black sheeting 20 mins before it’s meant to close. We weren’t even greeted and felt so unwelcome. I’d be really disappointed if my staff acted like that towards customer. I was there to exchange and item and wish my family never spent a cent at that store.

Walked in here on Saturday to buy a watch waited for ten minutes for someone to acknowledge me three girls walked straight past me and looked me directly in the eyes and said nothing I guess I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Very dissapointed with Saleras of Southland mainly their area manager Diane. Absolutely no compassion for my terrible situation whereas I had purchased a piece of jewellery for a relative with a terminal illness. Unfortunately my relative had passed before I could pick up my lay by and give. The trauma of this whole situation was relived speaking to the area manager Diane letting her know I could not afford to finalise lay by nor did I want to as the piece was no longer required due to the relative not being with us and it would be a reminder if I even could pick it up. I have been swamped by funeral costs and debt. I explained all of this and only received aggression and protocol and rules or regulations. Where has humanity gone. Why is everybody treated like a number and not a person anymore? All I received was a threat of losing nearly $2000 if I were to cancel the layby. The tone was very rude and disrespectful to my whole situation. This is not a change of mind it is death something we all will go through and ultimately all we will have at the end. Not money nor power we flaunt to individuals in their time of need. Dissapointment is the least I can say for Saleras or more Area manager Diane maybe disgust would be more suited. Hope one day you will never have to feel the way you made me feel on the phone all about money and company policy. I pray for decency and compassion. At the end of the day I still have my conscience and confidence that I did not hurt or disrespect anyone today. One thing money cannot buy. Be cautious of this company their policies and their area manager Diane!

About 3 years ago I purchased an extremely expensive rosegold popcorn chain at Saleras Southland. It was a $2000 chain that I have worn less than 10 times. It has proven to be very cheaply made and has fallen to pieces on me. My experience is as follows.

Initially I wore it three times. To my astonishment I returned to my car in a parking lot the chain was lying next to the drivers door! Its amazing it had not been picked up by someone else or fallen elsewhere and lost for good. The round link joining the clasp to the chain had not been soldered. The link had opened a hair width letting the clasp (still attached to its eyelet) fall of the chain!

Horrified, I took it back to the store and ask for it to be fixed. I was told it would cost me $50 to have it soldered. Apparently, they don't come with all of their clasp links soldered. Okay, so grudgingly I accepted. It was extremely unfair but nothing else I could do about the situation, I didnt want to take the chance to loose it again!

Needless to say I have barely worn it. I took it out the other day and decided it was a waste to keep it protected and hidden in my Jewelry box. Afterall, I had purchased it to actually wear! Now after wearing it twice more (gently with no pendant!), miniture scales have literally flaked off and left gaping dark holes in my chain. I attached a picture so you can see what I am trying to explain.

This is so unacceptable. I cannot return it because (even if I had the receipt) management would only argue that it had been too long since the purchase date or it was somehow my fault. Never ever have I had problems with fine jewelry. Please do not waste your hard earned money on Jewelry at Saleras. Go anywhere but here.

Not just bad advice and misleading information but also an absolute disgusting rip off.

This is my bad experience with this shop, If your are about to spend some money there, think twice.

So my story starts two years ago when I wanted to buy myself a watch for my 30th.
I was interested in the Tag Heuer F1 watch, Its got a black Bezel.
As a trade person I was concerned the black may scratch and come off. When I asked, the salesperson at Salera's southland, they knew to tell me exactly what I wanted to hear.
"this bezel is graphite and its black all the way through so will not show if scratched".

Took about two weeks to get the first scratch which revealed the stainless steel underneath the paint.

I got no complaints to Tag Heuer, it is what it is, BUT the sales person at Salera's Southland should have told me this watch is probably not for me and I would be better choosing a stainless steel one, not painted black.

When I came back to the shop they pretty much told me where to go, and that if I want I can get the Bezel replaced with a new one for about $250.

Of course Ive chosen not to.

Now the main part-
This month, march 2017 my stainless steel band has broken. I couldn't find any other shop in Southland that trades Tag Heuer so I called Salera's to enquire about a Tag Heuer rubber band which is an optional accessory.

Saleras quoted the below prices:
New Rubber band with buckle- About $300
New Stainless steel band- About $600

I thought it was a bit dear and tried to look around and found that there is a Tag Heuer shop in Chadstone shopping centre.

Tag Huer quoted for the same parts:
New Rubber band with buckle- About $130
New Stainless steel band- About $320
New Black Bezel- About $90 (fitted)

Not just bad advice and misleading information but also an absolute disgusting rip off.
