Amazing experience with the Saleras team at altona gate! Monica was wonderful on both of our visits. We bought our engagement ring there and returned for our wedding rings. On both occasions, Monica gave us amazing support and guidance on all choices and styles and what suited us best. She was honest and is very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend! Will be returning in 20 years for my diamond!

Thank you to the two lovely ladies that looked after me today. Last week l went in with a photo of a bangle l wanted and the lady rang up and found two one in Qld and one in Victoria. I went in today and as told my bangle had arrived and it is lovely. Thank you for going out of your way to get my bangle. I now know why l have shopped at Saleras for 40 years. Fantastic.

My wife and I have shopped here over a number of years so we have always supported small business in our area. (Spent another $480 last month)
Went in to get a battery changed in my watch. Asked for a cost and was told watch had to be sent away for quote and the $50 charge to be sent away for quote would come off the cost of repair. Shop called and told me the cost would be $264 including $50. They are now saying $50 will not come off the balance. I asked for my watched be returned but another three weeks have passed and I have not received my watch. They called me yesterday offering a discounted price. Today they are saying no discount. Have again asked for my watch to be returned. I said to the shop assistant I would review them poorly online and she laughed out loud and basically hang the phone up in my ear. At this stage have no idea when my watch will be returned. Never shop here for anything, sales assistants are rude and deceitful!

Sure! I understand that these last couple of years has had an enormous impact on most businesses, and families, and so prices on most things has risen, however, "price gouging" is so wrong! I cannot believe it!
Not all that long ago, I had brought in bracelets to repair because they broke. I was quoted $35.00 each. That's understandable! Fair enough. Yesterday I go in with the same bracelets, as I carelessly broke them again, and this time she wanted to charge me $70.00 each! Whatda!? Double the price!
I can understand if it were $5.00 -$15.00 increase, but a further $35.00 increase on each item!?

I feel mostly sorry for the low income earners.

Have a conscience, Saleras! I ain't shopping there again!

I was just browsing their wares and enquiring about their jewels and wasn't looking to buy anything that day. The staff nonetheless were polite and explained the jewellery to me like they would for any prospective customer and I appreciate that.

Good place to look for watches or jewelery. The staff are very patient in hearing the interests and design ideas of the customer and I give kudos for that.

A nice staff who explains their jewellery well. The small store can result in less choices but the customer service is a plus.

We bought a Seiko watch from this store on the day before Christmas. It does not work I have returned to the store twice the first time they advised it required charging under a light as it is solar I did this and the watch still did not work I returned to the store asked for a refund or replacement or upgrade where I paid the difference. The staff advised no refund policy and offered to send the watch to seiko for testing. As I already have a watch that does not work I rejected this offer. At this time I have a $425 watch that does not work and a store that has shown unreasonable resolution to this issue. Do not buy anything from this store see previous reviews I am not the first complaint of this kind. I am persuing my rights with the ACCC and will take this matter further.

They told me I could return the ring if it doesn't fit (as it was a gift), I went in there the next day to ask for a refund as it didn't fit (as it was the last one in that size) they told me I can't return it. Very dodgy and I honestly would not recommend them to anyone.
