Sale Cinemas reviews
34Small cinema. Good service. It has a rustic feel to it. The staff are really friendly - I highly recommend it. It does what a cinema is meant to do.
Went to see skyscraper Friday 27th July. Movie was good. However upon trying to order popcorn (4 large), along with other snacks, we (4ppl) were told they were not going to put another load of popcorn on for us. Disappointing. Movies just aren't the same without popcorn.: (
Not as clean as l remember it from earlier, fabric seats were filthy. Sorry Sale, but just not good enough!
A cinema that's out of popcorn by 9pm? That's not a good image. Drinks and snacks are way over priced. I'm from Melbourne, and Villiage, and Hoyts are definitely 100 times winning, despite the price for them. Drinks have been watered down to the point of no taste.
The locals have no idea about cinema etiquette. The sounds of them burrowing into noisy food packaging and chewing like the livestock that supports the area's economy is distracting and rude.
And the seating feels like it has been dragged from the torture dungeons of Westeros.
It's a cinema. What's left to say except sneak in snacks as per usual very expensive, but they all do it. I saw jamanji and loved every minute!
Over priced for the condition of the cinena and seating, needs upgrading or to be taken over by village cinema. Cost of the candy bar items is very expensive and I would hate to be paying for a family to see a movie and get snacks, would cost a fortune. Better off going to morwell village cinema, at least the cinema is up to date, the seating ect is new and kept clean and the snack food is fresh.
Compared to other cimemas i have attempted it is a lower standard, but charges maximum dollars.
Wouldn't let us use our concession cards to get a discount on our ticket price because they were "out of date" when only 2 years old. Not very happy with the service.
Small country cinema. Been here a few times mid week week, off season. Each time we were amongst only a few other patrons. Seating is comfortable but basic, unallocated sit where you want. Popcorn and lolly drinks bar served fresh popcorn. Sound and picture quality were very good. Room temperature was just right. Toilets were clean and obviously well serviced. Lot's of parking out in the street when we went.
Not loads of showings as it is only a small cinema, nice and quiet when we went. No Imax or 3D from what we saw but good to watch a regular film.
Great place to visit. Family attractions, particularly the botanical gardens includes excellent playground, BBQ facilities, picnic tables, public tennis court, fauna enclosure and lake walks.
Highly recommend as a rest/break stop when travelling through.
What sort of country cinema has no screenings during the day on thursdays, the only day the bus comes to town? Its no wonder these cinemas as closing down. Shows how out of touch they are with their customers. Why have daily sessions every other day? Makes no sense at all. Its no wonder people download or stream movies instead of going to the cinema.
I liked the cinema. It's a small charming cinema with a good enough selection of current movies. Cheaper then in the city, too.
