Saint Patrick's Cathedral reviews
15Beautiful cathedral.the mass is fantastic. Gives you a feeling of focus and being inspired by just walking into the church.
We enjoyed a fabulous Candlelight Concert from the very talented string quartet, entertaining us with the music of Queen. Brilliant!
Beautiful church. It is very welcoming, and the stories on the stained-glass windows are top class storytelling
Lots of people on good Friday service well done to all very enjoyable and happy to see so many
Love this cathedral with the stained glass windows. Quiet and cosy. The only church that has evening mass on Sunday, my favourite time to end the week. Plenty of parking
Peace and calm place for prayer even in the middle of the gold city ballarat.
Spacious car parking
Historic building, location, convenient times for masses and friendly parishioners, priest, cardinal and staff.
One of the notable attraction in Ballarat. This Catholic Cathedral Church which is located in the centre of the city gives us a warm refreshing feel inside. This church is a perfect place for prayer, personal reflection. Etc Daily mass is available in this church and the timinga are as follows: 12.05 pm during the weekdays 5pm (vigil mass) on Saturday and 8 am, 10.30am and 5pk on Sundays.
Midday Mass with two dear friends. Very moving simple mass; Thankful to Jesus to be free to worship and want to worship.
Thank you Ballarat on our first visit here. Getting to love it
Went there for my grandson Emmentt's baptism.
A beautiful cathedral and the service was wonderful.
A good place for the second half of the Antique Fair. Parking was much better and easier. The weather made the hall quite stuffy. A few fans would have made the afternoon more pleasant. Overall a good venue.
Please take responsibility for past crimes and honour the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. Only then can these ribbons can come down.
Historical stories are behind this church. We know that we can't change what happened with our children in the past. However, we won't forget and won't let the horrible things to our children again. This church might have a lot of things we can enjoy the beauty of architecture and keep this church to remind our next generation not to treat our kids with inhumane upbringing.
This place is so beautiful. If your coming here to pray though, you might find the tourists pretty distracting. Definitely worth a visit!
Nice heritage place. Great building and interior with stained glass windows but the setting has been compromised. Vital the remaining garden is retained not further modified.
