Had a wonderful meal with every dish being excellent. We really loved the fried wontons and bo la lot as entrees and the East meets West (chicken), Shaker Shaker Squid (salt and pepper squid) and the Pad Viet.

Best food in the town. I really love the atmosphere of the restaurant, good food good people? Will definitely come back. Service was very great, especially Javan, he is a very awesome bartender. You guys must try it!

Saigon Secret is truly delicious, we live locally and this has become a regular for us, the food is consistently excellent, it’s fresh, light and beautiful tasting food.

We had not been in the city for some many months due to Covid and working from home.

We visited on a Friday for an early dinner before it become to crowded as this is a very one of our favourites.

We shared dishes such as the Twice cooked Pork Belly and the Week to Week. Both dishes dish was a amazing.

I tried one of their vietnamese beers called Saigon Beer which was quite good.

I got takeaway, was good but not great. They stuffed up my order - I was given a laksa instead of a pho. The pieces of roti bread were tiny… not worth $7!

I love going to the Saigon Secret concepts. Such a great experience. The dishes were light so you can snack on a few things. Tien and Raymond took care of us all night recommending cocktails that hit the spot and could not get enough with the food variations - so much flavor and freshness! Will definitely come back to try the other dishes after lockdown.

Enjoyed my time here and the food is delicious! Affordable price Carlton suburb. Food came out in good time and also service is good. Missing " Lan " lovely waitress. Atmosphere is great and it’s always buzzing! Sure, it can get a little loud sometimes, but it shows that people are having a great time and it’s part of their vibe. I highly recommend the Week to Week and the Twice-cooked pork belly too. So many parking. Definitely a great place to meet.

Absolutely AMAZING! Have lived locally for 20 years and seen this property go through many different owners but I can safely say that the building has found its match, not to mention the amazing food and down to earth staff that will ensure that your experience is the most memorable as possible. Made a booking for 7: 30pm last Saturday night, at 8pm after standing in the wet & cold on the footpath for 30 mins our group of 6 gave up and went home as there were still people waiting in front of us and every other place we called was full. The place was jammed tight beyond all COVID density restrictions and a heap of junior staff were actually running at times to keep up. No manager to be seen. Can't comment on the food but based on the cynical approach to customer service, don't expect much. Looking at the other reviews I assume some people are easily pleased. Thanks for ruining the night!

SOOOO delicious! Highly reccomend getting a banquet, so worth it. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The Insane Fish was my favourite dish. Will be back again for sure.

Saigon Secret is a lovely small Vietnamese fusion restaurant in Carlton, I love their space and their beautiful interior. I also loved the amount of seating available indoor and outdoor.

The dishes are great! Lovely selection of delicious dishes to try, i find their food very fresh; lots of greens and vibrant colours.definitely worth a visit.

Located in the sunny strip of Carlton is this amazing modern vietnamese restaurant. Behind the founders of MinhMinh Saigon Soul, they serve up traditional vietnamese flavours with a twist. They have both indoor and outdoor seating area and there is so much to choose from the menu.

Absolutely loved the chef recommendations on the menu, the vietnamese fried chicken is a must and shaker shaker squid is so crunchy and nice. They have fresh coconuts and is the perfect beverage to wash it all down.

Definitely recommend this spot for some amazing modern vietnamese cuisine.

The food was great and the service was prompt. Tried the banquet so got to taste most of the menu. Recommend the prawn dumplings and fried squid. Good vegan options too.

Authentic Vietnamese food with a modern twist. Saigon secret is all about fresh and flavoursome food, fantastic service and a great vibe. We really enjoyed our dinner here. We ordered the chicken satay skewers with pineapple and cherry tomatoes (SO yum), Peking duck wraps (solid fave), angry beef stirfry (so fresh and packed with tender beef and veggies) and the crispy pork salad (delicious). Every dish was amazing and their homemade lemon, lime bitters went down a treat. Will be back!

SAIGON SECRET, Carlton @saigonsecret is NEW & run by the same team as @minhminhsaigonsoul, and it is already so popular with locals with their outdoor dining area bustling when I visited. Their modern Vietnamese menu is truly delicious and a must try.

The mains were a true standout and beautifully presented - the Pork Belly, Insane Fish and Shaker squid are all 10/10s! The protein was all cooked to perfection- incredibly delicious. The rice paper rolls and Betef Leaf beef were also tasty for more traditional dishes. They have very good set banquet menus from $30pp, perfect for group bookings.

The restaurant is in a heritage building, well lit and decor is modern with traditional Vietnamese hats dangling above. We sat outside to enjoy sun and it was beautiful! The staff are so friendly, and very attentive even with the guests around the side street ️ If you love Vietnamese like I do it’s worth a visit!

Wonderful restaurant with lovely staff and excellent food. On a quiet wide street with plenty of shady outdoor seating options and a great atmosphere. Best of all BYO with only a $2 a head corkage. Banquet options are great value for large parties and generous portions.
