Saigon Pho

Tried the crispy chicken with tomato rice on Tuesday, the rice was very dry and tasteless, chicken was ok…very disappointed with the quality. I have been to this restaurant in the past. The $7.5 Viet cream coffee special drink also was below average. I felt like this restaurant is closing down soon, so the chef put no effort in cooking the meal.

Great food at reasonable prices. We got there before 6pm and so we were able to take advantage of their happy hour special to make the prices even more reasonable.

Delicious authentic Vietnamese food. Fresh produce. Best Poh in Melbourne. Fantastic service. Indoor/outdoor seating.

I am not comfortable about that I have mentioned I need chilli. But the staff did not do it. How careless！And also the pho tastes so bad. This pho ruins my mood all day！！Do not go to this restaurant！ Do not recommend！

Just got takeaway from here for the first time, will definitely come in for more ASAP! Vietnamese salad with Beef was excellent and the Vegetable Spring Rolls were super fresh, tasty, with a good portion. Overall good value for money, and a new regular I think!

Food was serviceable, but considering the very limited menu, you'd think the main items are really good. But it was just.ok, very expensive for the service size.

The WORST pho I have ever tried! AVOID THIS PLACE!

The soup was absolutely tasteless, the broth might as well have been tap water seasoned with salt.

The beef tasted like it had been frozen and the ratio of beef to noodle was 1: 10.

I have no idea how this place even got away with serving such an abysmal bowl of pho. Worst pho experience in Melbourne.

Good to try, found the soup a little too salty and the noodles are more of the transparent type. Not bad overall.

Saigon Pho in Footscray is my go-to pho shop. Thought I’ll give this one a try but I walked away a little disappointed. The soup base was a little bland, the beef pieces were quite small and shredded (felt like left overs) and the portion is a little on the small size compare to the Footscray shop.

Nice small restaurant with traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Everything very tasty.
The only thing I wish you to have it is a seafood Pho and no bogans

Good portion sizes and tasty food. Rice noodles were a bit too thin, thicker noodles would have been better.

This restaurant people behaves very rudely with delivery drivers even though they lie about waiting time. Even after waiting for more then 30 mins (first they told 6 mins), they give negative review on Uber platform. They treat drivers like drivers are not human. Be aware about this poor unprofessional staff who may treat you badly. Don’t be a victim of anyone’s negative behaviour especially when you are not in fault.

I had a pork rice noodle soup and custard apple smoothie. Was so delicious and the service was great!

BEST SOUP I EVER HAD! HOLY SH#T the chef absolutely nailed it. I had the veggie Pho with tofu, it was absolutely delicious. Only $15.
And the chef also was really nice!

Delicious Vietnamese from here tonight. I had grilled chicken bún and my friend had tofu version. Both delicious. Service was a little slow at the start but the flavours in this place were delicious in an intimate setting. Unbelievably good Vietnamese food for only $16. I really wanted 3 colour drink but they didn’t have that and no reason given why not. Overall this was a nice place and cheap dinner for excellent food, will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful dining experience here! We ordered the beef and beef ball pho, and a side order of the deep fried chicken ribs. Both were wonderful, very flavoursome, especially the chicken, so tasty! Very crispy on the outside, juicy and well-marinated inside. The husband and wife team behind thw food and service were great. Had a great chat with both of them as it was off-peak time of day. The friendly husband's culinary skills are superb and wife is very friendly and kind too. Thank you for the wonderful experience and all the best!

The best pho I have ever had, it was phokin delicious. Its like they did a research on how to make the best ever pho, with the best ingredients and the best veggies and the best everything, whilst at the restaurant I realized that ppl from the 1800s had come to savour the dishes here as well which speaks volumes about the place. Highly recommend
