Saigon Corner Cafe reviews
46The spicy beef soup is the best Especially in this cold weather. And their Vietnamese coffee also my favourite
Had eggs benedicts and it was amazing, must be atleast the best I had by far. Staff really also awesome and down to earth, and easy to talk to. Definitely coming back. I think I found my favourite breakfast place. There is certainly special ingredients in the eggs Benedict makes to taste awesome.
Great service!
The foods are fresh and yummy. The people are nice and friendly. My kids enjoyed so much.
Highly recommended!
Food is always fresh and super tasty. Restaurant is always clean and tidy with the nicest staff all day round. I literally had 2 grilled chicken Banh Mi in one day, definitely hits the pregnancy cravings. Thanks team keep up the good work
Very good bbh! Best in Melbourne! And Vietnamese ice coffee very good. Service is also top notch!:)
A great family-run restaurant with great food, great service and great value.
Be sure to try the Broken Rice.
Also, the breakfast menu is worth a visit.
Oh, and they make the best coffee in Northland, the Vietnamese Iced Coffee in particular makes it worth looking for.
You’ll find it up near ALDI
Looking for somewhere cozy for lunch or coffee time? ?
Friendly customer service & tasty meals, that's what I had. Combi cafe & resto style; coffee after meals? You got it
Generous serving with soft music playing, time is seamless? ?
Vegan bahn mi is top tier bahn mi in Melbourne. Very consistant quality, ive gone back multiple times this week after finding this place. My only qualm is that there isn't much spice to the chilli, although I'm capable of asking for more next time I go so this isn't a bother at all.
So I ordered 1x beef pho @$18.50 & 1x fried prawn spring rolls (5) @$10.50 via DoorDash thinking that for the price, the food must be amazing. It took almost an hour for the order to be ready for collection, and then over another 30mins for the 3km delivery in light traffic (granted, delivery time's not the restaurant's fault).
The pho was quite tasty, but considering it's the most I've ever paid for a pho, anywhere, it probably should've been the tastiest, if not, at least, the largest. It was neither! In fact, the size was dismally diminutive. Even a child would have been hard pushed to be sated by the tiny serve that showed up. At least I had the five tiny little pencil thickness prawn spring rolls, that were rather bland and, once again, excessively overpriced for their size and quality, to fill me up.
There seem to be many glowing reviews for this place (which was why I tried them). Maybe I was just unlucky this one time. It's unlikely I'll be back unless curiosity gets the better of me and I decide to give them a second chance. Until then, Saigon Corner, lift your game. You're on notice!
Lovely little place! Food was fast and yummy while the service was warm and attentive. We also loved the spaciousness and the coloured "havana-esque" doors.
This has become one of my new favourites. I love the tofu banh mi and have been getting it almost weekly since I found it. Highly recommend the paprika fries and the vegetable spring rolls too. My 3yo daughter approves of the babycino and marshmallows and the staff are amazing and friendly.
I come here regularly for the rice paper rolls and coffee. They're both great, but the rice paper rolls are the best I've ever had.
I'm a pretty picky eater but have been a regular at this cafe for takeaway banh mi. Love the fact it is always consistent in taste which is absolutely phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this place as it would not disappoint you having your banh mi for the day.
Found this place by chance because there weren't many places delivering Sunday arvo in lockdown. I'm so glad I found this place and ordered our lunch. We had spring rolls, bao, Banh Mi and a rice dish and they were all spectacular. Eco friendly packing with a sweet thank you message were cherries on top. So satisfied.
5 Star Coffee Freshly made 1st Class best of Saigon, fresh & yum food choices. Always satisfies. Thanks guys
We used to have to drive to Northcote for our banh mis but due to lockdown we couldn't. Tried this place and their banh mis are just as good! We can easily get banh mis now after grocery shopping or even from Menulog at home. Yum
Today was my 3rd visit there and I agree it's the best eatery in Northland Shopping. Food is tasty and service is fantastic. The place is cosy and relaxing for a catchup and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is so fresh.
Would be nice to have more restaurants like this in Northland.
Awesome place to go, good ambience, modern and clean. Food is delicious and authentic with a few modern options, highly recommend this place to all. Repeat offender at this place.
Located right at the back heading towards Aldi. This restaurant is a hidden gem, the food is absolutely yummy. The food is clean and healthy and customer service is exceptional.
I must say only had take away but the rice paper rolls is absolutely delicious and it’s pretty big compare to other places so definitely get your moneys worth.
But most of all the pho is the star for me my taste buds had a mini trip to Vietnam really good dish for winter.
