Sacred Heart Mission Op Shop reviews
34The staff are soooo rude I tried giving the benefit of the doubt, maybe someone is having an off day. But I leave this review after dropping in multipleee times over the past year… I don’t even want to go in any more because the (usually older) staff speak to you so bluntly and have no warmth about their customer service. If I ask a question about something, or walk in within the last half-hour I’m made to feel like a massive burden to them. So sad as I love browsing the op shops on my chap-laps!
Used to be one of the best op shops in the strip but is now the most expensive. The older staff can be quite rude and is now mostly an overpriced furniture store. Only in the very odd occasion might you find something worth the extortionate price tag, that isn’t broken or in an ‘as is state’
Fantastic selection vintage pieces with wonderful window displays featuring a variety of unreal items - get in quick though as they sell almost immediately!
Spacious place with lots of furniture, nice staff, and delivery service is punctual and not pricey.
The store used to have great stuff at good prices. Now they have less decent products and the good products they do have are overpriced. A children's toy in a broken box shouldn’t be nearly $200. The workers aren’t very nice and I’ve had at least 3 unpleasant experiences with them. Decent store but needs a change of management
The older lady working here was an absolute cow.
I’ve had 2 negative experiences at this store with her. The first was when the older lady with the bob bad mouthed salvos and coughed on my expensive jacket I purchased (without and apology). The second time the same lady showed horrendous attitude and scolded me for not bringing a bag. She then tried to disagree with a sale that was being advertised IN THE STORE. Appreciate volunteers but She needs to be replaced. Terrible customer service. Only come here if you want to be treated poorly and have your things coughed on when there's still a pandemic.
I love coming here! The only reason I gave four stars was because of customer service.
I wouldn't mention this unless it was of concern.
All the workers are so polite and helpful, especially the ladies:)
But the middle aged man with the slicked back ponytail stares an uncomfortable amount and was rude/staring when serving me and my younger brother.
It was awkward I couldn't wait to get outta there!
Otherwise I love coming here:)
A bit of a different op shop, most of the floor space is taken up by furniture which is often turning over pretty well. I often come here to look for certain things which most other op shops dont supply or take. Staff can be a bit hit and miss but nothing too bad.
Man with pony tail is so so so rude and disrespectful. Will definitely choose to shop at other op shops now
They have so many good stuff over here! Found a suit in new condition and fit perfectly for $25! Really good quality.and a jacket also fit perfectly and cost $12.a pair of jeans cost $12.what a bargain.definitely come back again for more.
It's meant to be a Opertunity Shop, abit pricey. But I did get a brand new pair of runner's! Worth $180, & I paid $35! So happy?
This place has been around for a long, long, long time, and I'm sure has helped alot of peeps over the years, but, like all shops on Chapel Street, the prices have gone through the roof. They are still relatively cheap, but not to the extent that they used to be. Still a pretty good place to find things that you may not be able to find any where else. Rock On!
Happy to sell discarded second hand replica furniture but not robust good quality items. Time wasters.
Rude, standing in queue to buy something and they let a lady push in front of me and purchase it. So much for first come first serve.
This Sacred Heart Mission is tops! Great book selection, helpful team and rad furniture. Thanks for the bargains.
Such a great store has a huge variety and you can find some great bargains and really nice staff
I bought a couch that was slightly too big for the lift, the delivery guys went out of their way to take it up the stairs for me and really went above and beyond! So thankful, would highly recommend!
An eclectic op shop that specialises in furniture. There are some real bargains in the second room and lots of retro inspired furniture as well.
Excellent collection and prices. Most of the staff is awesome and you should have a great experience if you avoid the owner.
Vile, rude and unprofessional staff who look completely dead inside, bad vibes. As there are there are other options I won't be returning.
