Sacca’s Fine Foods reviews
18Don’t ever purchase here they sale most of the products fake recently I purchase eggs over here and seems to be fake and taste different and worst customer service they have.
I have found everything I've purchased in fruit and vegetables has been very good. None of that terrible storeroom smell or moldy smell. A very well set out store. Easy to find things. At the checkout the staff I've come across has been okay and friendly. Would recommend for sure
Only reason it's not 1 star is because they have decent quality produce. But the customer service here is probably some of the worst in the west!
Checkout person chose to stare at me with 3 others behind me waiting in line and decide to turn their back and start a conversation with other staff members, this didn't take too long but then when they turned around they grabbed my pita squishing it as they do so, jam it through the scan and then slam it down on the counter and just point at the eftpos before turning back to their conversation. It happened around 6: 20 today. Maybe someone needs to just stay out the back unboxing instead of customer facing?
Bought a bag of chilli paid over $9 for 500g and came over weight the chilli and only 100gr. Just make sure you double check what you bought as they might cheat you and use the scale is broken. Then dont use a broken scale!
Terrible customer service.
Register staff can’t be bothered to acknowledge you or even tell you a total for your purchases. Just stand there talking to their co worker on another register in Vietnamese as if your not even there!
May as well be a self serve checkout.
Weekly instore shopper and have been happy. This review is about their online/delivery/after sale service. Used their online shopping and delivery last weekend. Order was wrong and overcharged over $10-15. One item ($7) was not in stock but no note of this on website only to be told upon delivery that i get credit in my online wallet. Admittedly this is in their T&C but expect website to be accurate (i know this item has not been there for a few weeks so.). Repeatedly sent emails (including on the monday) to advise them and get refund for this and other items overcharged / not received but they all bounced back undelivered because of full inbox/excessive traffic etc. Also, sent enquiry via website but no email response. Will I go back? Ummm.no.
Weekly fruit & veg shop is always a joy with fresh produce and an amazing continental pantry section - just wish Floridia ricotta was in stock more often mamma mia
I went to Sacca's Braybrook this morning, I wanted silverbeet and potatoes, the silverbeet they had on the shelf was old, limp and they wanted $4.98 a bunch!
I was very, very disappointed as Sacca's had always had very fresh fruit and vegetables.
I asked a young man who was restocking some fruit, I asked if they have fresh silverbeet, at first he said no, only what's on the shelves.
I said you're selling old willted silverbeet, where's your manager, he went first to the displayed one's, then went out the back and voilà he came out with armfuls of fresh silverbeet.
Very disappointed Sacca's Braybrook.
How come there are NO Aussies working there, the staff are all Asian!
Please explain!
Opening hours are advertised as closing at 7pm. I got there at 6: 35pm and was told they were closed. Later one of their staff mentioned they close at 6: 45pm normally. Weird time to close at 6: 45pm. Opening hours should probably be updated to reflect this.
Having said that, they have decent produce and variety.
The place has recently expanded and the new checkout area is a disaster, no one knows what to do.and the customers all end up lining up down the isle instead of moving up to the checkouts. The old set up was better and quicker but the larger store is an improvement.
This is my go to for all my fresh vegetables. Always fresh and there is always a bargain on staples whether it's apples, broccoli or bananas. Cheapest and freshest herbs etc. Also check out their anchovy section near the dry goods.
Bad customer service. The girls at the check out are rude and hopeless at their job. No greetings or nothing. Should be sacked!
Bad customer service. The girls at the check are not friendly. No greetings. Just display a grumpy face. Pathetic. Should not work in retail if they don’t have good customer service.
The store is smaller than the other Saccas but still got the gourmet ingredients one needs to cook their Italian or Mediterranean food.
I love shopping here for the good selection of vegetable and fruit I got. The crowd isn't a lot and I can just get the work done quickly and be on my way home asap.
The Saccas of Braybrook area is good but is still missing the cheese and deli meat section. They have the best feta in the region but this Saccas I can't buy that as they don't have the cheese section.
Excellent range of fresh food and I absolutely love that you can buy strawberries that are not in a plastic container Great work Saccas!
Not as great as their branch at Altona gate but still high quality store indeed for buying gourmet food and groceries.
