Sabari Saravanaa Bavan reviews
69Tasty Indian dood, good pricing. We took the buffet. The owner looked after us. Highly recommended place.
We really love this restaurant. Whenever we visit Shiva Vishnu Temple on our way back home we often tried their dosas and puri really nice. Two three times we also tried their weekend buffet which is so delicious and the staff is friendly too.
I came with my family here from Albury NSW. The buffet menu was great in terms of variety and the food was delicious. Both veg and non-veg options were very good. Highly recommended.
Food here is awesome and tasty, especially the biriyanis. Will visit again. But a simple request, please play songs from other Indian languages as well (not just Punjabi songs) on the television.
A favourite.especially the Mango lassi. Great home cooked menu.with a Kashmiri rice to die for.
A great little find! I enjoyed the warm decor and the range of sweets and snacks at affordable prices. In my experience, it’s relatively rare to see masala chai on the menu, but it is available here.
I am glad that I found a Restaurant like this. All thanks to our buddies who are regulars here.
Being a vegetarian it’s hard to find these many Variety of dishes. Hope the non-vegetarians agree on this.
Medha vadas and dosas were stand out.
Recommend, when visiting here have ample amount of time to enjoy the cuisine.
I started early at 7PM on weekend for dinner to avoid rush.
After our visit to Carrum Downs temple, we went in for their weekend buffet. Unlimited food priced at AUD 19.99 (irrespective of veg/non-veg) - the sambar and kheer were delicious. You also get a complementary dosa/nan with your buffet
Great food.great varieties.
Most delicious
Spacious dining area
Friendly staff.
Great service
We had 3 gulab jamun and 3 filter coffee just half an hour ago. The coffee served in brass vessels were dark and anything but filter coffee. 4 $4.50 per cup of tasteless cold coffee. Please don't call this as filter coffee. Mr. ARUN what happened to your standards? ! 3 small dried up glass for $7.50! This is a rip off. Sorry for this review. Very unimpressive. The girl dropped a plate on the floor and didn't clean the floor properly. What a mess.
Food is good. Quality matches the price.
I think service can be improved.
Waiting times are long.
I tried buffet and it is good.
Good experience of buffet with good variety veg and non veg food. Fruits, gulab jamun options are good. Unlimited everything including Unlimited Dosas.
Food was not good ordered chart dosa paneer … chart was so dry and paneer was sweet butter rotti was without butter.first time i have seen this sort of indian food.no taste at all …
Vegetarian thali is not hot, roti is so hard like rubber and waiting time to collect take away is far to long.
Bad customer service
Extremely covid unsafe and ruined my daughter and my appetite. None of the staff were wearing masks at any given time- not even when handling food. Glasses are stacked on tables and we had to ask for our table to be wiped twice and there were still crumbs on the table and chairs. There are stains on the stacked glasses and cutlery placed on the table. There is a Buffet and everyone is eating with their hands and then touching the cutlery on the buffet table, that other people touch. My daughter and I were really hungry but looking at how unhigenic this place is, ruined our appetite.
Good authentic Indian food and that too at affordable price.only one thing they don't come n take order instead we've to go nd then order.which is not that good.rest everything's fine.it would be better if they provide same waiter service like all restaurants.taking order as well.rest everything's fine.
Not recommended this place at all. I ordered vegetarian thali, tasted horrible even food was not hot and roti was too hard. Even i couldn't eat.waste of money.
Very good South Indian food. Indo Chinese items and Weekend buffets are good. Good curries. Especially the Lamb and chicken.
The people here are friendly, the menu is extensive and has food from various Indian and Indo Chinese regions. The place is clean and smells delicious. Nestled in an industrial estate with plenty of parking. I had the Palak Paneer and while it never looks amazing it's taste is excellent. There was a generous amount of cheese in the dish.
Excellent staff (Harman and Smiley particularly are amazing, along with the Chef!), great food and SO CHEAP! Their Chana Bhatura, Palak Paneer and the Ghee Dosa are the best! Give it a shot, one of the best places in the south east.
