By the grace of Allah Almighty we had the opportunity to travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah through SAARC TRAVEL. It was an amazing experience. My parents and I had the best Umrah experience, Saarc travels service was great and worth every dollar. Their choice of hotels in Medina and Mecca was exceptional and we were also able to visit several ziaras and historical sites during the city tours. I made our booking from Sydney and it was very easy and reliable. Definitely recommend them and would love to travel with them again in the future inshAllah.

I would also like to thank Sheikh Muhammad for blessing us with his immense Islamic historical, Quranic and Hadith knowledge and Sheikh Aqeel for all his efforts and arrangements in KSA.

I was afraid that how my hajj is gonna be, because of the stories i heard. But in fact i was amazed by the experience I had. With the will of Allah i met with a family of 56 people and had a wonderful experience in the leadership of brother Mian Zahid. I would also mention Brother Aqeel from S. A.who was with us all the time and guided us to go through the whole Hajj process smoothly. So i would advise the reader and potential haji (i. A) that do book with Mian Sahib for your hajj.
May Allah invite us again and again to perform hajj and umrah and accept too.

I have performed about 7 Hajj so far, Alhamdulillah and did one recently in 2019 through SAARC Travel. I do not hesitate to state that this was the best experience I ever had.
The SAARC Team consisted of three main partners: Mian Zahid Sarfaraz, acting as the main Hajj Operator in Australia, Aqeel Al Halwany acting as the 'Mutawwif' (local organizer/tour guide in Saudi Arabia) and Shaikh Ramzan Al Azhary acting as the 'Muallim' (Islamic scholar), guiding us on the religious aspects of the Hajj rituals. The team performed extremely well, fully coordinated.
Mian Zahid went out of the way to please every individual as a VIP. Aqeel worked really hard as if he was doing it for his personal family, making sure all transportation movements were as per schedule and providing the best accommodation. Shaikh Ramzan is an all inclusive scholar, having expert knowledge of all the four Madahib (Hanafi/Maliki/Shafi'ie/Hanbali).
We got more than what we were expecting in terms of accommodation, transportation and food. It is very difficult for me to pick a negative point against the team.
We highly recommend future Hajj performers to travel through SAARC.

Both myself and my wife went for Hajj with Saarc Travel. I believe it was the best decision made. We were provided with the accommodation right in front of the Haram with Kaaba view in Makkah and accommodation provided in Medina was also on walking distance.

The accomodation was really good was very close to Al Haram and also Masjid al Nabawi. Transportation was also arranged during the Hajj days which made everything a lot easier! They also gave us really good guidance and made us understand what to do in each stage. Alhamdulilah they made this bless full journey even more blessed.

If you’re thinking about going to Hajj highly recommend Saarc travels would be worth it!

We are just back from Umrah from SAARC travel. We were really upset in Madinah upon landing when they did not reserve a car for us and I had to go through a local gentleman to reach to contact SAARC people to arrange a car and get to Hotel.

I am personally not happy with the handling of transport matters during our stay in Saudi Arabia. Mian SB did not apologize to me when replying my email, rather he simply wrote "thanks for your feedback, we will try to improve our transport service". Very unprofessional.
Here is the details of my email to Mian SB:

1. Upon arrival: there was no reserved car for us. Despite having a chat with Mr. Malik (the transport manager) from Melbourne, he did not show up or did not arrange someone who could take us to the Hotel. Mr. Malik was contacted by a local and Mr. Malik was keep telling us to go to different locations in the Airport. Thanks to the local who could speak Urdu and knew the airport area to where we could get a car. Finally, a random car was given to us from the entrance of the Airport. This is how you reserve a car for a paid customers?

Next day Mr. Malik was quick enough to offer a car for Madinah tour so as to charge us the fees. He could not provide a car where we needed in the Airport, so going around in Madinah why did he bother?

2. Madinah to Makkah: Mr. Malik arranged a driver, Mr. Ali, who should not be on the road. The driver was driving in 140KM/HR (normal speed limit) without any hand on the steering wheel at times. He used his mobile constantly by his both hands throughout the journey. When the car was veering away from the lane, Mr. Ali used his knee to control the wheel or sometime using his index finger. At times, we were scared he might loose the control of the heavy GMC. The driver had bad attitude towards other road users, ignoring them to give way. In one occasion, Mr. Ali winded down left side car window and did road rage with the other vehicle's driver, yelling and talking to himself towards heading to Makkah. We on Ihram clothing reading Talbiah and simply saying "Ya Allah please take us to our destination. " What a scary journey we had with the bad driver without a single mannerism!

3. Makkah to Jeddah: Mr. Malik cut off my phone calls twice prior the night of leaving. He texted me later that he would send me the driver details on the night of 12thApril Friday. I said ok. Till our Fazr Prayer on 13th April on Saturday, NO NEWS of car. I called Mr. Malik (WhatsUp) who picked up the phone and cut the phone again. He did not want to talk to me, so he wrote "Yes Sir? ". I simply asked for car details to Jeddah, he said the driver was sleeping and could not give the details. He insisted the car would come. There was a Taxi Van who arrived on time and the driver was good.

Hotel: both the hotel were reserved. In Madinah, the hotel was nearer to the Mosque than compared to Makkah.

Mian SB, we do not need service, we need actions on the ground to make our tasks easier. Hope it will get better.
