Low water pressure in shower. Bathtub/shower combo only- for the money charged, you should expect a decent walk-in shower with decent water pressure. Bathroom overall quite small. Also, breakfast being min. $25, you should be able to get a cappuccino but none offered. Breakfast buffet overall ordinary. Staff offer good service by rectifying breakdowns and taking notes from customers.

Perfect for our overnight stay Christmas night before heading back to Melbourne. Late check-in not a problem, friendly and efficient staff and a wonderful buffet breakfast before leaving.

Closing the bar to other paying guests because somebody had a conference. The hotel should have made allowances for this disturbance

Great value, location and service.

My partner and I enjoyed one night here on our way down to the Great Ocean Road. Great value with the room we booked, clean, cosy and well mintained. Our package included buffet breakfast at Natuica Pool Bar & Kitchen conveniently located downstairs.

A big thank you to Carina (Staff at Nautica) for the wonderful service she provided us. She was very welcoming, funny and a highlight to our morning.

Our room wasn't clean, unfortunately. Mould in the shower. Heavy dust on bench tops. And the mirror full of sticky stuff and kids' hand prints.

The beds were extremely soft. It was too soft for our liking as we kept rolling in the centre.
Also very noisy with other guests walking in the hallways and shutting doors. Woke up up a few times through the night 4am being the noisiest. (Not great for a family room with kids)

The pool is great. Good sun and shade. Good amount of seating. Didn't like walking through the restaurant wet and in a towel to get back to the rooms. Not pleasant for patrons nor swimmers.

Breakfast is great, get there early. Breakfast is served until 1030am on a Sunday at 9: 15 there was very little left and most wasn't getting replenished. Had to line up in the big line just to get a coffee refill. Needs to be flipped around so the line isn't hovering over tables with people eating. And can't freely flow.

I have stayed several times here for work. Great location, very near to Geelong city and restaurants. There are 3 different views Ocean front, Geelong City Front, Geelong Suburbs.

The beds were good and very comfortable and the location was nice. The only issue is the price, for the price it should have been amazing and not just good. $260-300 a night and have to pay for parking, Parking is $27 a night extra and the tv channel was bare minimal. I think the hotel cleaners don't change the sheets often but there should be an option to request that. Amenities as well like no bottle water in the room. No microwave and no toothbrushes in the room. Plus the spa wasn't working etc. It says 4 star hotel but it seemed at best a three star one. There should be more activities for kids as well. Little things that make a Huge difference

Never again. Room filthy. Bathroom very old and in disrepair. Shower over bath in an expensive room. Not even a teaspoon. Very disappointing. Carpet had not been cleaned. Bits and pieces including cherries and cherry stones on floor.

I couldn’t speak highly enough of a Taylor who helped me with a booking issue I had through a 3rd party booking company. Taylor went above and beyond to help resolve this issue. Thank you Taylor, you were a delight to deal with

When I first checked in with my partner the front desk staff was lovely, was so easy to speak with and even recommended things to do and restaurants to try around the area. Our room looked nice and clean but the beds had like little black rocks so before we got in bed we had to flick them off and for a clean freak I could barely sleep at night!
Bathroom was nice but quiet small and the fan couldn't be turned off and it was such a headache throughout the night.
I tried turning the air conditioner on but it was only set on heat and I couldn't change it and with the curtains closed it got really stuffy and annoying! And it was super loud like the people next door had it on also and we could hear it even when we turned ours off! It kinda sucked having to open the windows which had no mesh thing to keep bugs out.
We went out in the next morning and when we came back there was a free parking in front of the hotel other than one which required a permit and when we requested one from the front desk the guys told us that it was for "VIPs only" which I don't understand because for an almost 4 star hotel $239+ per night with nothing complimentary and a $30 per night car park I'm sure everyone that books a room should be VIP! Like am I not paying enough to get the VIP treatment? We had to tell the person that we are staying for couple of hours more and couldn't find any free parking spaces around the hotel other than that spot. Which he then agreed to letting us stay for a short amount of time only because it's for VIPs only (smh). It was my first time going and staying at Geelong, it was a nice experience but next time I'd definitely try another place to stay at that would appreciate all their customers not just their VIPs

Beds were to soft, food was ok but very expensive, paying $5 for a tray that your food is delivered on is rudiculous. Parking expensive. Air conditioner was terrible, the room was way to warm. Do not recommend.

Overall okay experience considering the price charged and the 4 star rating of the hotel.
Positives:
1. Check in and check out process was quick and the staff was friendly and helpful.
2. Had parking at hotel for $20 a day which was good.
3. Had jacuzzi in the pool area.
4. The rooms were big and spacious.
5. Close proximity to the city and the waterfront.

Few improvement points:
1. Scent used in the rooms was a bit off and smelled weird. Consider changing it.
2. Sofa in our room didn’t appeared very clean and was stained.

Rooms and beds were comfortable, staff inexperienced and rude, on check in told I could park at the side if free, no charge it was going to be a quiet week, only charged if you park at rear enter boom gate, I was charged when checked out I queried I was told that I had been given wrong information, ate once at hotel, asked if ok to eat out by pool area, said it was fine ordered at bar after waiting for an hour went and enquired where our meal was, told we would check, then staff member came out and said we don’t serve dinner out here, I said I checked then informed it had poor lighting and we should eat inside very rudely, I said I had ordered dinner in day light they were so slow it was now dark, poor lighting around pool should be addressed to management, food finally arrived but my son order didn’t come spoilt our whole night. With COVID a lot of inexperienced staff have been hired, if you want to know anything about this hotel check with manager nobody else knows what they are doing. Poor customer service.

Our room is clean and spacious. Better bathroom in comparison to rydges Melbourne. Although the heater wasn't working, the reception lady personally came up to give us portable heater and extra blanket.
She was very apologetic, offering us free parking for the inconvenience.
The service was really great including the food offered, both dinner and breakfast

Old building with popcorn ceiling, not noise proof, an outdated room, the 2nd bed was without a headboard. Suggest not to pay extra for "bay view" as there's none. Weak tv signal. Plenty of street parking around, so save $20 per night for onsite parking. Restaurant onsite is very convenient. Pool and jacuzzi with heated water, we didn't use either for the lack of time.
