Ryans IGA Pleasant Park reviews
38 Prices very high, because they take advantage of the fact that there are a few boarding schools that have students come down and buy food. Today I paid Six Dollars for a pack of raspberries, only to come home and find that every single one was soggy, and very moldy beyond the chance of being eaten. Very Dissapointing, seeing as this is the third time in the past 4 months that this has happened.
Also, ALWAYS take your receipt, because they are known for overcharging as much as up to ten dollars.
Really disappointed in this Ryan's IGA. They are horribly expensive compared to the Ryan's IGA in Ballarat East. For example, the same loaf of olive bread was $3 more. The milk was more, the vegetables and meat more. And I mean a lot more. Very greedy and taking advantage of older people shopping there, thinking they are saving money. Outrageous mark-ups.
Picked up milk, papers & sourdough loaf of bread. All good, but bread was 1 day old. Still good to eat & had few more days before expiry. Very friendly staff & always help to repack your bag.
Tried HOME DELIVERY. Don't bother a total disaster meant to deliver 10 am till 12 noon Didn't start picking till 1.30 pm tried to deliver around 2.00pm.can't stay home all day waiting!
Good store full of heaps of food products, have a wide variety of everything. Average prices. Staff are a little antisocial. It’s in a really easy to access location. Only thing is that it’s sort of hard to find anything in the store as it isn’t organised very well and not much signage.
The guys here are very welcoming and have fresh produce, with a friendly customer service attitude.
Good little supermarket, great options, liquor off to the side and a great little butcher, also had a few things I was unable to get at the big supermarkets, very happy and highly recommended.
Easy off street parking too.
A great selection of many items for a smaller chain of supermarkets. Love the cheese selections. Great service
Really giving the other two (W & C) a real run for our "dollar"! Has better and better ranges and the same for price. Specialty breads are also available.
Not my local but it is located next to my chemist and a bakery so frequenting all three when required is convenient.
Great variety of gluten free foods which is the reason we went. Though a bit hard to navigate to the checkouts
Have made this our first choice grocers, good range and quality. Staff have always been helpful and friendly and you can drop off your old small batteries. Also they stock really great bread.
This store literally has everything you need and more! So much locally made and sourced products! Staff on the registers couldn't even fake a smile they were very robotic
Best place to buy a 10 pack of soft drink as Coles and Safeway have now Double in price. I like to have cans in the fridge for family and friends that pop in. I can't drink it, but nice for other Family and guests
Don’t go in there after 9.30pm! The girl with the dark straight hair will refuse to pack your bags! And make disgusting remarks! Tonight was pretty good! Won’t get out on time tonight!
Totally disgusting! You should be happy to have a job!
I find it quite expensive on heaps of their products. I won't shop here because of the prices again.
Not the supermarkets fault but the car park is awful and dangerous. Too tight and several near misses with other cars. Their new checkout arrangement is very inconveniently organised.
An mix range of products, lots of gluten free, plenty of organic bread. Ready to eat meals. Tried a ready to eat meal, hmm not exactly value for money, it was so so. Still my first time so a bit confusing. But not bad.
Was Pleasantly Surprised. I liked the lay out of this IGA and the Teller was ever so sweet, which is the icing on the Cake. I will be Back! Heads Up You need to stock Lavazza Pods Please.
Lovely little supermarket with a few hidden gems (Just Sweets gift chocolate range?) and all your essentials!
