I wanted to have coffee but all the cafes were closed. Searched for a cafe near by and this place appeared in my search.

This is a cafe with dine in and bar both.

Really nice ambience. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. At first, we thought of doing a take away coffee but than we (me & hubby) changed our minds and decided to sit and eat something as well.

Menu has loads of options like GF, vegan and vegetarian.
They have an open kitchen.
There is a play area at the side, to keep kids busy.

We ordered coffee along with some pastas. I requested them to make vegan one, which the chef customised. Pasta was very tasty and exactly what we wanted. Coffee was above expectations.

Very happy and worth the visit, will definitely come back again.

I ordered some takeaway for Father’s Day. Trio of Dipsz shocking presentation. I could not serve this for Father’s Day dinner.

Not impressed with the new changes

Restaurant was quiet and staff were super accommodating. Steak I ordered was superb! Kids meals were a fair size and quiet clean for fried food. Playground was a bonus but also offered up colouring which was a bonus!

I ordered takeaway food many many times from this place and 3 times in a row I’ve been given the wrong order, been charged extra ($80 for 2 pizzas) and again tonight I order a large vegetarian pizza but was given a bacon pizza, after getting compensation and getting my money returned and getting another vegetarian pizza I was given a pizza with olives and vegetables. I didn’t expect this from a place reviews highly for the 3rd time. WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS

Service was nice and the kids milkshake was a good size, that is all that was good. The mixed grill took ages to come out and for $47 it was small and was luke warm at best, only the chips were hot. The garlic focaccia was sooo garlicky, i never thought there could be too much garlic on something until now. Everything is so over priced as well. Huge disappointment

Average food but still overpriced. Came here with 2 other people on a QUIET Tuesday night. Only ordered 3 mains - took over 1 hour to serve our food. Restaurant was maybe 25% full at most. Standards have really dropped at this venue.

We celebrated last Christmas Eve there with around 30 family members. We all had a phenomenal time. Karen and the staff were outstanding and could not help us enough. The menu was organized ahead of the event, which made the night run even smoother. The quality of food was outstanding and got rave reviews from all the guests.
We would strongly recommend considering Rustique for a special family event or for just simply a meal and a good night out.

Modern Australian cuisine. Clean and friendly. Wide menu selection. Family friendly. A good range of craft beers. Prices range from $20-$50 for a main.

I have no idea what the bad reviews are about but my son and I just had a fantastic experience!

The kids menu also doubles as colouring paper and they supply pencils! There’s a playground and the kids menu is pretty large ($18-19 avg)

I was unaware my pasta had cheese on it after reading the menu, and without hesitation the lovely girl working offered to get a new one made as I’m lactose intolerant.

Great service and delicious food that I’ll be thinking about for a while

Had lunch here today as a 1st timer with a group OMG service fantastic, food was awesome, atmosphere great the actual overall place inside clean and the toilets are spotless. High fives to all that work here keep up the brilliant work you’s do.

Place has changed a bit. I use to rate it 5 stars (for the steak). I'm a steak man, I come specifically for steak.

Kids meals are beautiful, no complaints. No constructive criticism about other meals.

Had to return 2 meals tonight, but not the first time I raised this issue with the kitchen. Asked for medium rare rib eye (got medium), which I'd be fine with, but also asked for medium porterhouse, got well done. Not acceptable when paying $40+.

Probably not a good idea to finish steaks in an oven. They require a pan or grill and observation by the chefs. You lose that nice crisp and seared outside and end up cooking all the insides.

The quality of the meat has changed. No longer sure its Black Angus, change of supplier? Blander taste, almost coles quality. Coles Finest beef brand beats it by a long shot. Would recommend going back to previous supplier.

For $40-$47 a steak (+15% public holiday surcharge), expect higher quality (rather pay more for a meal than downgrade quality to cover costs of staff and business if that's an option with inflation?) But quality supplier is key regardless.

Staff though have always been nice. Couple recommendations from tonight's experience though would be to check on diners a few mins into a meal to make sure everything is OK, instead of having the diner feel awkward putting hands up to try get attention. Happened second time when new meals came out also, no one came to double check if the steaks were cooked right? Mine was still medium and not medium rare, but the other was ok, so it passed. But that's feedback you need from front of house to back of house so the head chef can kick some butt - it's your business.

On payment, wasn't asked if everything was sorted and if we had feedback about the meals. No follow up. Unfortunately that's why I posted here.

You guys have an awesome restaurant. Few things need work in the kitchen recently but I'm sure its temporary.

Ordered via uber eats the homemade lasanga was full of oil and paid $27.50 for a serving so small! Fair enough if it was actually edible but it was not! Also paid $12.50 for those cookie things they offer once again not at all worth it as it was dry and bland and you get bigger and better cookies at coles. Rang up and they said they dont return orders and i had to basically deal with it. Shocking customer service big waste of money!

A friend and I met here for lunch. Last week. I loved the low lighting that made the restaurant cosy and welcoming. The waitress was friendly and attentive. She knew the menu and answered any questions we had. I ordered a gluten free risstto which was delicious. My friend ordered a burger and she said it was very tasty. I had a gluten free carrot cake with cream a little dry but I ate it all. Friend had tiramisu which she enjoyed. We sat talking for about 3 hours. Our food was served in good time. Oh one thing that bothered me was the chair that I sat on was too low for the table. I am 5 feet nothing so a higher chair would have helped me to sit more comfortably. I give honest feedback. The lady manager brought our desserts over and had a chat she is lovely. I will definitely go there again to eat. 9/10.

Ordered takeaway dinner few times from this place. Always fresh food and enough quantity for myself and tasted great too. Definitely recommended

Hygiene in the place is terrible. Staff were cleaning out rubbish bins behind the bar with the bins sitting on top of the benches the smell of the garbage was horrible as we were sitting in the restaurant and as for the toilets well all I can say is utterly disgusting the smell that was coming out of them smelt like a sewerage problem it was so so strong. As for the service didn't even get asked if we wanted sweets or coffee. Staff were to busy organizing the rubbish bins never go there again

Was here for a family function so only had a limited menu but the burger I had from here was very delicious. Chips were done to crispy perfection. Had a quick look at their regular menu and the prices look very reasonable. Will have to come back one day and try the pizza or pasta.
