I'm a big fan of RunTime because of their attention to detail, the hiring process takes a little time as there are several stages of interviews and what they do is try to figure out the candidate's strengths and weaknesses and then if they think the candidate will be a good fit, "sell" that candidate to the employing organization. Mainly my experience with RunTime has been as a candidate being placed, but I have also seen some examples of the materials they send to the employer and it seems quite thorough in terms of the rundown they give on each candidate and their bottom line recommendation based on the preliminary interviews they have done during the search. If the candidate is not the normal candidate (for example, has less qualifications but more on the job experience) then they will highlight what is unusual and if they still think the candidate will fit the position. This open minded approach is very refreshing compared with the sort of robotic box-ticking exercise you will see elsewhere. I've had quite a long association with RunTime as they have considered me for various positions and I have dealt with Peter, Simon, Frances and some others at different times. I really like the way they take a holistic approach, it is not just "process the candidate and done", they follow up with me regularly to see how I am enjoying the position and I would honestly call Simon a friend since he has been with me through many ups and downs and has provided a confidential space to discuss my career concerns et cetera. So, well done Simon and RunTime. I would highly recommend RunTime to both employers and candidates. Also, they make a point that their recruiters are also engineers and I have found that they definitely speak my language and are well placed to judge the candidate based on the technical and engineering stories you share.
