Ruelle Wine Bar

I celebrated my 30th birthday at this venue and couldn't have asked for a better place! I fell in love with the venue instantly, it had so much of natural light and was in the perfect spot! Luke, was extremely helpful days before the event and the staff were fantastic on the night. We ordered the cheese platters and some pizza and everything tasted fantastic. Everything set up and ready to go when I got there and I had nothing to worry about. My friends loved the place and said it was the perfect spot. We carried on until 12am thanks to the kind staff who stayed back!
If anyone is looking for a small intimate space, look no further cause this one has it all! I CANNOT recommend it enough! My 30th will always be remembered thanks to the service and thorough organising by this wine bar.

Asked for information about the wines as when ask for the list I was pointed to the board. An example of a description was the wine was from victoria- that’s it! Seriously it’s a wine bar
Finally someone came out that knew about the wines, we went and sat down. When the waiter was pouring our wines he ran out and I suggested he get another bottle and at least top up to the line, his reply was so you really want me to it’s almost there.
The table had a broken leg, his reply was yes it’s a pain. And promptly left.
So would we return NO! Would I recommend no! Would have loved something to eat and another glass but it was never offered, no wonder it was empty.

A very underrated wine bar off Chapel St. Great food and wine (as you'd expect), also very lovely decor and vibes. Wish it were busier!

We had a function at this cosy wine bar for 18 people and it was great! It’s off the busy streets, but right in the heart of Prahran. Callum looked after us with drinks and made us feel very welcome

Fantastic little bar with an interesting and very excellent wine selection. Staff are great, Maddy the lovely owner is extremely accommodating and VERY knowledgeable. Would highly recommend anyone to visit this little slice of heaven nestled behind Chapel st! And get the cheeses, great selection!

Great little wine bar in the heart of Prahran. We shared a pizza and a cheese/charcuterie plate, it all paired really well with the red wines that we ordered. Will definitely be back for Happy Hour soon!

Have been twice now and had a fantastic time on both occasions. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the food and the wine are delicious, highly recommend.

Portions are sooo generous and delicious. Love the pate, cheeses, and wine. A great spot for date night. The young couple that owns the place are thoughtful and sweet. They opened the restaurant recently and seem super open to feedback. Will be back:)

What an awesome experience! Madi was so kind walking us through a great tasting, and all the wines we tried were delicious. Definitely recommended for a great date-night spot
