Dining at Rucker's Hill was a delectable treat I won't soon forget! The arancini balls melted in my mouth and the duck was cooked to perfection. The standout was the cheesecake with the hot melted chocolate - oh golly! Raring to come back for more! Thank you Ruckers Hill!

The meat was so juicy and a perfect thick cut! I couldn't ask for a better piece of meat. The entree of scallops were the perfect starter for the rest of the meal paired with a nice cool glass of champagne Finishing off the evening with the Lemon lime meringue tart and oh my god it was so delicious! My mouth waters just thinking about going back there and ordering more! Is there a better indulgence, I think not.

Small and cosy feel, incredibly attentive knowledgeable and friendly service. I'm not a wine guy but the wine we had was really delicious. Can't wait to revisit

The atmosphere is fantastic from the second you walk though the door. Immediately greeted with a smile and friendly service.

The staff were quick to offer us a drink while we decided on food.

We went with the tasing menu and have zero regrets, an amazing experience to try multiple delicious plates of food with fantastic wine pairings. From bread and dips to pork belly and steak, everything served to perfection.

Finishing the night off with a delicious cheesecake paired with a beautiful sweet wine, the perfect way to wind down on a Friday night after a busy week.

And when the night is said and done, you find yourself plenty surprised when the bill lands on your table and it's far less than you'd imagine. Have paid far more for far less!

I'll be recommending Rucker's Hill religiously.

Absolutely fabulous night out at this neighbourhood gem. The menu is quite classic and done so well - we had the tasting menu and everything was delicious. An amazing wine list to choose from and impeccable service and ambience. Would highly recommend - I'll be going again.

We booked with a larger group and the service was immaculate! Dietary variations were accounted for and the wine matches were devine! Go for the degustation and let the flavours take you on a holiday! It’s amazing!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE food, wine & service! It exceeded all my expectations; the menu was classic but just done so superbly well. The vibe and interior are so cozy and romantic, perfect for date night but also noticed a lot of families and groups there too. The staff were so passionate about the menu and lovely. Highly recommend the set menu, it blows my mind how it’s only $79 for the quality and portion sizes. Cocktails are divine. Have been telling everyone about this place, Melbourne is blessed to have a restaurant like this. 11/10

Recently visited this venue - this place can be termed as Melbourne's ornate Gem - you need to visit to know what I mean, happiest staff you could ever meet, and when staff are committed and dedicated, it shows in the entire vibe of the restaurant. This was totally true for Ruckers Hill. Recently opened wine bar, with an extensive wine list and drinks menu and a super fresh modern french offering on the food front. Even caters to Gluten free and vegetarian. All meals were beautifully and delicately presented, taste was extremely on point, flavours were uber satiating and the entire vibe of this place was very chic. Perfect for those cosy date nights, and the back area of the restaurant could even be booked for large groups or events.

We had the tasting menu with pared wines. The food was exquisite as were the matched wines. The serving sizes were generous and all in all represented excellent value. The waitstaff were professional and knowledgeable - a hard recommend from me!

The dining experience was perfect. Well cared for by staff, beautiful venue and great food. Please do yourself a favour and try the pork belly

We had the most beautiful dinner - the chef knows how to make high quality ingredients shine, simple but SO delicious. The wine list by the glass is extensive, we did a wine pairing from the lovely Angelo and it was on point. We'll be back for sure!

My husband and I went there to celebrate his birthday and the imminent arrival of our first baby. We felt so well taken care of and the food was seriously amazing. We both got the tasting menu and they were so accommodating for my pregnancy dietary requirements. We are still talking about how delicious and fun our night out was. We are so happy that we chose to go here for our last special meal out for a while. Thank you!

Absolutely incredible! Could not fault anything from this venue, drinks were superb, food exceeded expectations (especially the scallops and snapper) and the service absolutely sold the entire night. Special thanks to Angelo for his attentive and phenomenal personal service, he didn’t miss a single mark and we will definitely be back!
