Always have a wonderful experience at Royal Park Medical. My usual GP, Dr Sarah Humphry, is one of the most kind, empathetic and just all round wonderful doctors I’ve ever met. She supported me through my pregnancy and beyond and I feel very lucky to have found her. All the experiences I’ve had with doctors at the practice have been great and to a very high standard. Can’t speak highly enough!

The medical professionals here are great but the receptionist hung up on me before I could finish talking? Lol not a good vibe

I have been seeing Magda for years. She is an outstanding practitioner. The best GP I have ever seen, she deserves six stars.

Encouraged by some really good reviews I was hopeful about this place however have seen a couple of different doctors and haven’t been happy with the service. I didn’t feel listened to, or like options were explored about how to assist me and came away feeling worse than before I went in.

My favourite clinic I’ve been to in Melbourne. Magda is amazing but so is everyone else I’ve seen.
Just had an IUD replaced and Sarah was so efficient and Faye was great at distracting from the pain and helping with my little vasovagal.

My experience? They store your credit card details and bank account details without your permission then dip into your bank account whenever they feel like it. No phone call to discuss it and no explanation. Too bad if it's your last $90 - they don't care. They'll take it, even if you haven't been near them in weeks and even though they don't have permission to store your account details or to charge your account. They have no respect for patients and no qualms in taking as much money as they can from you. They'll tell you an appointment will cost $90, then when you go to pay it's suddenly $140. Too bad if you haven't budgetted for it, or don't have the money - every appointment is a long consultation, even a 5 minute phone call. I, trying to be understanding, accepted doing a phone appointment when they called me an hour before my appointment and said the doctor was too sick to see patients face to face. I did the right thing and called after the appointment to make payment by phone and they wanted $140 - even though I'd only talked to the doctor for 5 minutes and their website says a standard appointment is up to 15 minutes. They're all about getting as much money as they can. Cancelled appointments are charged for even if you cancel them days before. Don't trust their online booking and confirmation system. Either they'll lose your booking (though they've done that to me a few times, even when I've booked in person) or claim you didn't cancel, even when you cancelled via the system and by phone. My advice - steer clear. There are plenty of other ethical medical practices in the area. These are just greedy money grabbing you know whats. The saddest thing is, they used to be fantastic until about 6 - 12 months ago.

Could not recommend this practice enough. I used to live in North Melbourne however more than happy to travel the distance to receive care here. Their practitioners are holistic in their approach, thorough and really take the time to listen to you and make you feel heard when other practices may just brush you off (in my experience anyway). Particular shout out to Dr Al Stark and Dr Madhavi Thotadur - wonderful GPs!

Grateful to have discovered this medical centre and even more to have met Dr Madhavi Thotadur, who has become our family doctor. Dr Madhavi is more than a GP and even more has a heart of gold. Her strong experience along with her generosity, kindness and consistency has offered us a better quality of life. She really stands out! Have also been looked after other GPs in the practice, they are all well chosen. Also, the 2 boys at the front desk (cannot recall their names I'm afraid) are sharp, prompt and very helpful.

I highly recommend the clinic for their exceptional service, caring staff and doctors. Always prompt to address any concerns and there is indeed care and compassion with their service. Whenever I have my GP appt whoever is available, I always get the same outstanding service. We have now moved quite far from this clinic but I never hesitate to still travel and see them from time to time if I need to have a gp consultation.

Dr Richard is a great bloke and doctor! He looked after me and assist me with the troubles I was having. Will definitely come back when necessary

I have been a patient here for more than half a year. Once the GP told me to do two tests for the next two months. After the first test, I kept getting messages to urge me to talk to my GP. I called explained twice I can wait for the second test out and then meet the GP, but I kept being called and messaged for many times that my GP want to talk to me. It felt like I am dying if I don’t meet him. This morning I went to meet my GP found he knew nothing about this and I don’t need to be there. What a chaos of the management. Waste my time and money. I asked for leave to meet my GP and find I don’t have to do so, who can be responsible for my loss?

I am extremely happy with this medical centre. The doctors I've seen have been incredibly caring, knowledgable and professional (in particular, but not limited to Edward Vergara and Madhavi Thotadur). This also extends to the practice nurse and reception staff - they really work as a team and follow up phone enquiries rapidly. After a suspicious mole removal I was worried about how the wound was healing on a weekend and my usual doctor was out of the office. I was able to get feedback from a different doctor via email (after looking at some photos) - it was very reassuring.

The clinic is also well equipped with setup for minor procedures and is clean and pleasant.

I've been a patient at Royal Park Medical for over 2 years. The Doctors are fantastic, caring and really know their stuff. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Amazing support provided for all medical issues. Highly recommend.

I have seen multiple doctors at this practice (but mostly Madhavi Thotadur) and they have all been incredibly friendly, kind and thorough. I really feel like they care about me and always walk away from the practice feeling all my needs have been heard and attended to.

Doctor Edward Vergara is fantastic, after going to 4 gps around Melbourne, Edward was the only one to detect and solve a finger issue since then I went and seek advice, is very professional and do the best to help you

Dr. Edward - a wonderfully gentle and competent doctor. The best GP I've seen by far. Great to see people like this, in this profession.

We consult with Dr Madhavi, and are very satisfied with her treatment. She is very thorough and thoughtful in her assessment.
The nurses are very good too. I highly recommend the centre

This is a great practice and all the doctors I've seen here are outstanding. They have a lot of care and compassion as well as being very knowledgeable. A special shout out to Dr Edward Vergara who is simply the best GP I've ever had.

Saw Dr Alistair Don two days ago with an Pilonidal cyst and requested for it to be lanced/drained as it was infected. As I was a new patient to the clinic, Dr Don seemed more interested to get an overview of my history, which I really wasn't there to discuss & turn what could of been a standard short consult into a long consult, costing more money as this clinic doesn't bulk bill. Soon as I made it clear it wasn't my intensions to move away from my regular clinic, the Dr showed lack of care, interest, no sympathy/empathy in the fact that I was in ridiculous amounts of pain, said there was no head on the cyst and sent me away with antibiotics. I asked a lot of questions that turned into "Don't know, can't give you an answer" type of responses, surely if a Dr can't give an exact answer they can give scenarios or examples of time length. I spent 15 hours in the emergency room at the Woman's Hospital yesterday, had surgery to remove the infected Cyst that had a head on it, so I'm extremely doubtful when Dr Don saw it (not even 15 hours earlier) there wasn't a head. Dr Don never once suggested I go to emergency room, never one suggested a follow up appointment. Would NEVER recommend this clinic or Dr Don. Lack of care from both the Doctor and reception staff. When I went to pay the reception staff who took down my "new patient forms" asked what my name was. There was 1 other person in the clinic at the time and the waiting room was completely empty. Quite ridiculous the staff member couldn't retain my name from the data they've just keyed in. I can see why this clinic has so much availability at short notice, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere, not worth the time or money spent here. Happy for the Clinic to email me and offer a refund, as I don't see that I actually had any service to justify the cost they have charged.

Saw Dr Alistair Don this morning, new patient at the clinic. He was highly professional and knew what he was talking about, but was also amiable and all around very helpful. Would happily recommend
