Royal Kebab Cafe

One overworked dude behind the counter. I appreciate the effort but the kebab was shockingly depressing. The chips were crispy at least. It also looks bad when nothing’s stocked in the fridge besides water and energy drinks.

Food and service is generally great. Tonite tho I discovered that they have downsized portion serving. Not happy Jan. Sadly I won’t be back

The kebab was just average. Not sure why it is 4.4.
The fries were over-cooked and kebab was too dry to eat.

Kebab was small and a bit expensive I thought. Came with a small square of Turkish delight which I thought was very nice though.

Came on a very late night but still offer excellent snack to eat, in particular the falafel. Highly recommended

Hands down winner for biggest rip off in the history of kebab rip offs. I’m all for making a buck for your business but at least put out some mediocre food.
Mixed kebab was $20 and I swear I didn’t get chicken on it, two floppy bits of tomato, brown lettuce, 2 onions rings, and 3kgs of garlic water. If that wasn’t enough i had to wash it down with a $7 side of chips that are the size of a large chips from Mcdonalds that take 10mins to cook and have the barest amount of seasoning if not none at all. I’ve given you 3 benefits of the doubt and now it’s time i end the relationship as it’s only gone from below avg to dogs dinner.

Went there, lady in the shop were on the phone, no customer service at all. Used old chicken and lamb stored in the box and put it on the grill to burn & overcooked. Don't tell me yu are cutting the meat and put it into the box, I myself into this business for years.
Improve your customer service and food quality (Great tip).

Thrown your burned meat Hsp into the bin. Fries were the same. Very disappointed.

One more thing, they charged $20 for hsp and *$22 for kebab. I have never see this rate in whole Melbourne.i can understand you had been go through covid and recession but that's not the excuse. None of the kebab shop have increased price upto 15-20% in whole Melbourne.

I was the regular customer 4 years back and loved the food quality, customer service and fair price. But it's not the case now.

Picked up a chicken kebab and it was pretty good. Chicken was tasty, vegetables were crisp and the garlic sauce was excellent. I wish they had the option of Turkish bread but otherwise worth a visit.

I tried to be a decent human being and message this restaurant privately via Facebook messenger but they ended up blocking me.
I came last night ordered a lamb HSP with hot chilli instead I got a whole heap of sweet chilli… I asked the girl probably 2 times to make sure and she said yes.
It was really bad. I didn’t want to publish here but it’s just rude when a customer makes a complaint privately the decent thing to do is to reply not block them.

Skimping on sauces and ingredients in their kebabs and HSPs while also being wildly overpriced.
The quality of the food and the value for money has gone way down and prices have gone up.

30 dollars will get you a half filled kebab with a tablespoon of sauce, the minimum amount of cheese, meat, and anything else.

I went back and forth on writing this review, I used to be a huge fan but in the last few months, honestly, this place has gone down hill. I've tried to give them honest feedback and given them chances to improve, but they don't take on the feedback and we just keep getting disappointed.

I understand everyone is struggling with the cost of living but there are no more reasons to buy from this place, sadly.

I assume they will now abuse me in a response as they seem to with all reviews less than five stars - on ya boys!

Everything here is so tasty. I’ve ordered the HSP, kebabs and chips a few times and it is always delicious and made to high quality.

Don’t hesitate to visit Royal kebab cafe! You won’t be disappointed

Royal Kebab Cafe is unfortunately a no go for me, I Got a Kebab for lunch and it was the poorest Kebab I've ever had there, was practically nothing in it.plus got carrot dip which had turned bad before sale
they were apologetic but that's not good enough.horrible experience.
I shall never return.

Really need to update their buisness hours. Showed up and no one was there. Something that's pretty easy thing to do considering this is a buisness that has a decent following. Driving 15 minutes out of the way for a buisness that can't take 2 seconds to let their patrons know whether they're closed or not. Pretty lazy tbh.

The best kebabs in town! Consistently amazing, generous proportions, never disappointed. The owner is the best guy!
