Royal Hotel Snake Valley reviews
35Great quality local pub with a great atmosphere and a fantastic community. Able to do gluten-free pizzas which were generously topped and massive in size.
Good selection of meals, large servings. Cold rainy wintry night, disappointed wood fire not going in dining area.
Rural, rustic old pub, pub meals, so much charm and great to catch up with the Howlett side of the family
We had lunch here one Friday. The BLT was good, the potato wedges the best I have ever had.
It is a charming and rather quaint Australian pub.
Great little pub, staff are nice, food is good and the beer is cold. Can't ask for much more.
Dropped in on the spir of the moment for lunch. Lovey staff and service. Meal was fresh well cooked with a very short wait tome.wiil call again
Not a bad place but not really sure if they care about neighbours or the town.loud music i could hear it a few km away. Feel sorry for the ones that live close.cars parked on the road blocking a lane in front of the pub very unsafe.not a good look.even saw police there tonight 18/2/23. I left when police turned up.will not be going back. The town as a whole is amazing. The few locals I spoke to where wonderful.
Over 7 years of attending this cute country pub. Always a fun family night out! Fantastic friendly staff, most recent at owners are welcoming and accommodating, especially with our two special needs children. I adore the atmosphere, their zest for customer service and fundraising, warm welcoming feel and oh my goodness, the salad and veggie bar is my favorite.
If we were no blessed to have family to stay with locally, I would not hesitate a second to utilise the accommodation.
Wish it was my local.
It’s an old pub with history and attitude. You don’t pay a lot to stay here. …Well worth it if you are happy to share bathroom, kitchen and toilet. Walls are paper thin to noise: not helpful as one of the compressors sits in the kitchen next to a bedroom. Bits of the building might also spontaneously fall off in your hands. Food is simple and people are bluntly friendly.
A great old style country pub, we popped in for a counter lunch on a Saturday, very friendly staff providing great service, friendly locals, and good pub food. Very enjoyable.
Loved this little place not far from Ballarat rooms were old but clean shared toilets and showers take earplugs as you can here every noise great pizza's
Great pub for a very nice feed, beer, clean rooms, friendly staff.would certainly stay again.
Was unsure what to expect when we booked an overnight stay, and was pleasantly surprised what a great a little place it was!
Other than the other guests using the shared bathroom and kitchenette not bothering to clean up after themselves, (I mean how hard is it to wipe down the bathroom or kitchen sink when you're done?) it was great!
Friendly staff, and full of locals which is a dead giveaway how good it is. Two thumbs up
Stayed the night passing through on business. Fantastic rustic old pub. Clean room, Friendly staff, and customers.
Great meal thanks Pete.
Rolled up, had a drink at the bar, met some locals, then was shown to my room, had a nap, got to the Dining room. Omg what to choose?
750g Steak? Went for the Mixed grill. WOW:)
Scotch Fillet, local sausage and bacon, meat pattie, Crumbed Lamb Cutlet:) Fried Egg.
Chips (Beauitifull) Salad (Awsome)
Had a bottle of Billies Shadow Shiraz.
All that for $50.00 unbelievable:)
Please visit this place!
I will be back
Unfortunately this was one of the pubs that was closed when we called in at lunch time so can't say to much about it.
The food was great and staff were friendly will go back again great stop over after a drive thank you
Rustic old hotel, with old world charm. Bathroom is shared with 4 other bedrooms, but our bedroom, though simple, was quite comfortable. Includes air conditioner and fan and a TV. Also there is a shared, stocked kitchenette in which to make your own breakfast, included in the very reasonable price. Friendly staff, too.
Great Parma and scotch fillet. Beautiful garden and helpful staff. Great facilities. Quiet and peaceful, and for a very good price. Will definitely be back if we're coming through the Ballarat area
Lovely little pub, delicious meals, huge, real people, many old churches to see with lots of history, very relaxing rooms behind the pub for overnight stays
