Royal Exhibition Building reviews
55It was a shame on my visit there was major works going on with much of the building covered.
Come here every so often. And it does not disappoint each time. The ducks were very cute. The building is very pretty. And always clean. Really nice place for photos
The architecture in Melbourne is beautiful. It’s really comfortable to take a walk through it in the early morning with a layer of mist.
Went to the Affordable Art Exhibition, and it was a lot of fun. And the food and drinks areas were well stocked. I would love to see the inside ceilings get repaired. What a grand old venue. A must see.
Went to Wanderlust 2023. It is such an amazing heritage building. I particularly love the high hidden Latin inscriptions
Brilliant tour! Fascinating history - really brought to life by Matt - our thoughally engaging tour guide! Great views from the Promenade & great insights into the past from the various historical photos and items on display.
Included in the ticket for the tour is entry to the museum. Allow an extra hour to explore the Melbourne gallery - and immerse yourself in the detail of the numerous objects that illustrate the stories of times past. Set aside most of the day if you want to explore the whole museum!
Had a fabulous tour of the promenade. Great guide (Matt) with a lot of interesting history.
Nice building and gardens but not a lot to see. If you're going to Melbourne Museum it's very close so it might be worth visiting in that case.
A beautiful old building north of the Melbourne CBD. The internal architecture is just beautiful to look at and worth stepping inside if you get the chance.
Many experiences at this majestic building, World Heritage Listed - exhibitions, events, and more recently, for Covid booster vaccination - The old girl is versatile!
They used the building as a vaccine hub for Melbourne, and it was so well orchestrated by the staff at St Vincent's. Beautiful building, and a very good cause, it's vital that we keep each other safe.
There for our booster shot.
I would really suggest heading in after 6: 30pm to avoid lengthy ques.
Its a fantastic building.historically important. Saw Walter Landrum play an exhibition there. The greatest pool player ever
Royal Exhibition Building is absolutely stunning inside and out. I remember visiting here in the late 90's for the Westpac Christmas parties catered by Peter Rowland! Ah! The good old days!?
The graffiti, which now extends to the trees themselves, reminds you that you're you're most definitely in Melbourne.
The Royal Exhibition Building is located in Carlton Gardens, which is very convenient as it is quite close to the city. Unless you are not in the city, in which case it will be a little less convenient. It is a beautiful building from a time long ago, before humanity was in decline. A wonderful focal point for a walk through the gardens, you can also go in. During times of Covid I believe you could also be vaccinated here. I am not sure if they will continue to offer that service into the future but in any case, it is well worth looking at with one or both of your eyes.
Went to the vaccination hub for my friend with severe needle phobia. Amazing staff very patient and friendly. Would definitely recommend for kids & adults with anxiety towards needles.fantastic
If you thought it looked elegant on the outside, the inside is even better. Awesome heritage building.
Beautiful interior, attended various events held here from graduation, flea market to wine events.
