I have been working with Ross and Ruby at Rossfit for a couple of years now and absolutely recommend them.
I chose them initially because of their attention to technique and holistic approach to help after back problems & to get strong and return to the variety of activities I love to do. Post a full body assessment & strength program I’ve embraced all their styles of training (indoor, outdoors, group, personal training) plus their Lockdown Fitness & Wellbeing Challenges that have all provided me with sanity in this tough year of being housebound.
They are friendly, generous, knowledgeable, experienced, welcoming and accomodating on individual limitations plus enjoy having some fun. My back is now stronger than ever and my mental health has absolutely benefited too. Thumbs up for this crew!

Brillliant team with challenging at home workouts involving cardio and strength training. Having Rossfit in my routine this year has got me through the stress of this year. I love their approach to fitness with a focus on nutrition as well as recovery (mediation and yoga). Great communication and training style thoughout the classes, I have been to many other training groups but I cannot fault Rossfit.

I originally worked with Ross in preparation for a multiple day trail run and soon after, my first trail ultra marathon. Because I don't live near Ross, we worked three times in person, then Ross gave me everything I needed in order to prepare myself properly and keep myself healthy both during training, then during and between the runs themselves.

I was in the best shape I'd ever been in and, despite the long distances I was running on consecutive days, I wasn't even stiff. I found it seriously miraculous.

I've since trained with Ross online, in isolation - getting a much better and well-rounded workout than I'd be doing myself, connecting with other people, and being kept safe in exercises with Ross's attention to alignment - even on the screen.

Ross's experience and completely holistic approach to health means he can work with anyone to help them optimise their health and performance - even my 80 year old dad! After working with Ross for 2 weeks (again, almost all remote training), he experienced a pain-free back for the first time in years.

Honestly, I can't recommend Ross highly enough.

Thank you so much to Ross and Ruby at Rossfit! I love the daily group fitness sessions. There is a good mix of strength, cardio & yoga. With being in lockdown both Ross and Ruby have done an amazing job at not just training me, but also providing so much education around food and wellbeing. I highly recommend trying the classes and joining the Rossfit community today!

Rossfit has really helped to keep me fit, healthy and happy during a challenging lockdown in Melbourne! They offer a great variety in classes, including body weight and weighted classes, as well as yoga! Always good fun and enjoyable workouts!

I started working with Ross a few months ago in the search for more energy so I could keep up with my busy business and family life. My iron levels were low, stress high, I had just recently done my back that wasn’t healing and fitting enough exercise in my week seemed like an uphill battle.

Ross did his through health and movement assessment and created a tailored exercise plan and list of lifestyle changes around hat I needed. Now I know what healthy eating looks and feels like and how to prioritize time for myself every day.

My daily exercise program is fun and easily fits into my day. I feel stronger, healthier, lost a few kilos, and need less coffee. But most importantly I have all the energy I need to get through my day, stay calmer, happier and enjoy life in general! Oh, almost forgot to mention the back pain as I don’t have it anymore:)

I can highly recommend working with Ross whatever your health goals are!

Love my time with Rossfit.
The holistic approach makes it personal.
Ross educates me on my own body awareness and what it needs when. Ross has created a fitness and nutrition program to suit my crazy busy lifestyle which I thought would never work.
Consistency in exercise and good nutrition is the key to achieving my goals.

From the moment you meet Ross and the team you know you are in great hands. The initial assessments conducted on clients are thorough and ensure the programmes created for them are specific to their goals and needs.
In addition to offering Personal Training the team enjoy building a community. They offer regular Bootcamp sessions, organise group events like hikes, cycling and also conduct info sessions on topics including nutrition, sleep and lifestyle balance. They even trained and then took a group to Everest Base Camp!
Ross and the team are continually investing in their professional growth and development and regularly attend workshops and seminars to learn about the latest science, techniques and research. I would highly recommend Ross and the team to anyone looking for extremely talented & caring Personal Trainers.

I had low expectations when I started PT sessions with Ross as I had never used a PT before and assumed lots of things based on misguided preconceptions. I have been so impressed over the months that we have worked together and have taken many little nuggets from his training and teaching. These have all had a positive effect. I have finally turned the corner and managed to realise (with his help as the key) that my health is more than what is often perceived by non gym-goers; it's not huge weights, excessive shouting and tunnel vision in training. It's a holistic approach. Ross' approach has always been individualised, kind and holistic and his work is to be admired for its simplicity and honesty. I, who was a cynical health professional to start, saw great results that were slow and steady and I continue to see benefit. Choose Ross and you won't regret it.

When I first found Ross, I had been through around 7-8 different professionals ranging from Personal Trainers to Myotheropistst and chiropractors and even doctors to try to assess and find solutions for a horrendiously tight and painful lower back. None of which gave me much answers or support or gave me long term workable solutions.

I knew on our first assessment session when Ross was buzzing around with the upmost concentration measuring angles of my spine and hips and writing things down that he knew what he was doing, but more so was driven by a strong passion for the work he was doing.

The programs I was given were tailored to a very specific goal but kept in mind my desire to drop weight and gain strength, I was shown and explained what and why I was doing what I was doing in as much detail as I needed and never was a question asked that went unanswered. Ross's knowledge in this industry is beyond anyone else iv ever worked with.

He has a very strong ongoing drive to better his service, not only is this shown in his work, but in his constant support both physically and mentally.

It goes without saying that my problem has been solved and my expectations exceeded. He has recently brought on another member of his team, who shares a very similar passion and willingness to better themselves and their service. Just another reason Rossfit scores number 1 on my list. As good as Ross is, he has recognised he doesn't know everything and can't possible see things from every angle. Enter, Ruby, if one god send of a trainer wasn't enough, now there's two!

What I love about training with Ross is his amazing knowledge of the human body (esp when it comes to posture). He pushes me so I feel like I'm working but is always aware of my overall wellbeing and considers stress load and sleep. He runs great sessions where I feel completely guided.

I first met Ross in December, 2015 and was immediately impressed with his manner and personalised approach to training. He undertook a series of postural assessments and in my case identified a number of imbalances which he has addressed in the design of my programme. His approach is definitely not 'one workout fits all'!

Ross concentrates on the client he is working with, clearly explains every movement/exercise undertaken and even though he is extremely busy, Ross is very patient and doesn't make a client feel rushed.

Ross is very serious about his own professional growth and development and regularly attends workshops & seminars to update his skills & learn the latest science, techniques & research.

I would highly recommend Ross to anyone looking for an extremely talented & caring Personal Trainer.

I've been training with Ross for over a year and I ALWAYS look forward to his training sessions. Ross is professional and passionate about what he does. I can tell because he takes the time to understand where I am with my fitness, and positively pushes me to train harder. At the same time if I’m not feeling 100% Ross will adapt training to suit my particular needs. He is very knowledgeable about fitness and healthy living which only adds to the benefits of training with Ross. He provides tips and information about fitness and the body which I just wouldn’t get elsewhere. After my sessions with Ross I can actually see and feel results. I have a lot of fun when training with Ross because he makes me feel welcomed and his friendly nature and sense of humour puts me at ease. I would totally recommend Ross as a fitness trainer. Once you find a good trainer, there’s really no turning back. Trust me – Ross is a keeper!

At the age of 30, I'd resigned myself to having hip pain for the rest of my life. Then I started training with Ross and 6 weeks later - pain free. I can't tell you the difference he's made to my every day life. He designs training tailored perfectly to your needs, whether you're looking to overcome injury, get fit and strong, or learn new techniques. He pushes you to achieve things you never thought you could. I feel great after every session and that makes me actually look forward to training!
