My Aunty was there for nearly 6 years and was very well looked after. The staff were great and nothing was too difficult for them. The food was good and there was plenty of entertainment although later in her life she was unable to attend. She was there until she passed away and was well cared for during this time. Would definitely recommend Rosewood.

My mum spent nearly 2 years at Rosewood Gardens & it became her home until she passed away. The staff genuinely care for the residents & my mum was always treated with respect & compassion. I would recommend this aged care home to anyone needing respite or permanent care.

Mum spent the last three years of her life at RG, sadly recently passing away at age 92. Firstly, our family would like to thank owners Jega and Nalini, manager Zakia and all her staff for the love and care shown to mum throughout that time, particularly in her last days.
Mum considered Rosewood Gardens as her home, developing close friendships with her carers. She was always treated with kindness, dignity and most importantly respect. Mum liked to maintain her own routines set over many years and the staff accommodated her wishes, which made her feel well in control of her life. She felt safe and found that the staff responded to her needs.
We were always made to feel welcome when visiting Mum and we are eternally grateful for being able to spend as much time with her as possible in her final days, notwithstanding the current extraordinary circumstances.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Rosewood Gardens.

Until the age of 95, my mother has lived her life with freedom and independence in her own home.

However, when the consequences of a fall at home were such that she needed to seek assistance and care in supported accommodation, my family was naturally apprehensive about the available options.

With the support of my mother’s general practitioner, my mother became a resident at Rosewood Gardens in May 2019, and I am very pleased to say that the right choice was made. Rosewood is a special place – individual care and respect is extended to each of its residents by the fully-committed management and staff, and my mother has frequently commented on the fact that she feels safe and secure in an environment where her needs are met in a prompt and efficient manner. She has an individual and private room, together with her own large bathroom, and the standard and presentation of each of her meals is consistently high.

Because the number of residents at Rosewood Gardens at any one time is not intended to be high, my mother feels as if the prevailing atmosphere is one of “an extended family”, and that means a great deal to both her and to me.

I am very grateful to know that my mother is in such good hands.

Dad resided at Rosewood Gardens for his last 3years. We have been extremely impressed and its without doubt the best aged care facility we have experienced. The management and staff are lovely and pleasant. Always caring, considerate, friendly and professional. The establishment is clean and comfortable with lots of natural light. The food is also great and plentiful. The residents enjoy regular activities and always celebrate special occasions. You are made to feel at home and we highly recommend Rosewood Gardens.

I'm writing this review because my NDIS Respite recent Stay @ Rosewood gardens has COMPLETELY changed my life.

This is not an exaggeration (My Spellings not the best) There's honestly not one staff member who has'nt helped in a loving and nurturing way.
Zakia, you are an excellent care manager, thanks to the GP and Jegar.
Dee, may the upcoming birth off your third bundle off joy be the blessing that I also have the blessing to have.

Michael and staff the food and service was hotel quality, and going to miss you all both Morning, Day, Evening and weekend. You all go out of your way to please EVERYONE! Not easy sometime's.

I will be leaving with a fresh positive View on life in an independent supported living environment, I also leave with lifetime friendships that will be treasured and natured into the future.

Love and thanks to All

My dear 93-year-old father entered Rosewood Gardens (RG) in 2017, he sadly passed away peacefully at RG in June 2020.
I thank the owners Jega and Nalini who had been accommodating to all dad’s needs and requirements, especially during COVID-19 lockdown. They have taken every safety precaution seriously.
The wonderful carers are RG are so attentive and helpful; they are the Rosewood Guardian Angels.
My elderly mother has recently become a resident; she saw the great care my father received. My mother feels secure and is in good care. Mum looks forward to having a coffee, cake and a chat with her new friends at RG.

Our dear Mum spent respite here on two occasions. She enjoyed her time there and the family were very impressed with the warm intimate cosy feeling it projected. All staff made her so comfortable. They were attentive, kind and thoughtful. Mum joined in (and was encouraged) with the activities including a Christmas in July lunch. The family were always welcomed at any time and we too could enjoy ‘happy hour’ with our dearest. We highly recommend and thank Rosewood Gardens for giving her such wonderful care in her final months.

In March 2019 for my 74yr old male, physically disabled cousin, I was recommended by a large Hospital Social Worker to "inspect" three "Care" places for his future lifestyle

I selected Rosewood Gardens.modern, well presented facilities,
My Cousin has now been there almost 12 months, he is very happy there with new friends, good meals, excellent attention by very friendly and caring staff for his medical and personal care etc

The owners are "hands-on" and dedicated to good service

I would recommend Rosewood: John: 24th Feb 2020

My father Wallace spent his very happy last few years of his life at Rosewood Gardens, recently passing away at age 97. He was very happy with the wonderful care from all the staff. I cannot praise too highly the standard of care and quality provided by owner Jega Rajan and all his team. My father particularly enjoyed the healthy and nutritious old style traditional meals provided by the on site chef. The environment is very welcoming, spotlessly clean and tidy, with a very homely atmosphere. It certainly avoids an institutional feel. Family and friends are always welcome, and are able to have meals in the dining area with their loved ones. There is a good activity program, and Jega ands the staff ensure that there are many celebrations for events such as Melbourne Cup, Christmas with families, frequent visiting musical entertainers, etc. An introductory visit reveals that Rosewood Gardens is a small residential care facility with an individual focus, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All staff engage warmly with the residents, and become part of their family.
I think this place provides an outstanding level of care, and I was most grateful that my father Wallace was able to spend his last few years in such a caring supportive environment. Jega and his lovely wife are often on site in hours, after hours, and on weekends, with an attention to fine details.
There are lovely extra touches such as the friendly pet budgies which my father loved to interact with, many quiet spaces for residents and their family, a beautiful garden with gazebo, and a quality library /quiet space. Many important ancillary services are provided such as visiting hairdresser etc.
There is good medical backup as required from local general practitioners, who in my experience are all excellent at communication with family members about their loved ones.
The facility offers a mixture of short term respite care, and longer term permanent care. It is a great chance to trial one's loved one in aged care, which is what I did for my father. His initial temporary period of 3 weeks trial extended as he felt so happy, and he did not wish to return to independent living in his unit.
The facility is able to manage many differing needs and level of care, in a friendly professional caring manner.
I totally recommend Rosewood Gardens, as an outstanding example of how to provide the quality care that we all expect for our aged loved ones, but unfortunately is not always the case in the challenging field of aged care.

Our mother lived at Rosewood Gardens for just over 5 years, initially as a Respite resident, and then after a couple of months, she decided to stay permanently, until her recent death at the age of 96. In that time she came to consider Rosewood Gardens as her home, and she formed a number of happy relationships with both residents and staff in that time, as did her family members. She found all the staff to be caring, respectful and considerate, and the owners were always willing to accommodate any requests to make her stay there as happy as possible. Although she did not generally want to participate in some of the social activities available, she very much enjoyed meal times in the dining room with her group, with lively conversations over a glass of wine. We would like to thank everyone at Rosewood Gardens for their loving care of our mother over the last 5 years.

My beautiful mother in law, Pam, spent the last years of her life at Rosewood gardens. Our family will always be thankful for the love and care of all the staff there. The managers are at all times kind and genuinely interested in the welfare of their clients, and readily sought and received feedback to make their facility the best it could be. They made sure Pam was happy and well cared for. The carers also all treated her with love and respect and she loved them back. She never wanted to leave her own home, but when circumstances dictated that she needed further care, she was happy and safe in that environment and she felt loved and cared for as a part of the Rosewood Gardens "family". The cooks always provided us with meals when we visited as we lived a long way away, and went our of their way to see that I had food I could eat as a sufferer of coeliac disease. She was palliated at the facility when her time came, and the love and sensitivity of all the staff was beautiful. I'm sure no facility is perfect all of the time, but we could not have asked more of their care. Thank you Jega, and all the team at Rose wood gardens.

A big thankyou to everyone at Rosewood Gardens. My mum Nita had her second respite stay with you and was cared for extremely well. She was impressed by the beautiful hard working staff that always gave 100%. The lovely homely feel and the warm hospitality is a credit to you all.

My father was a resident in Rosewood Gardens for one year, until he passed away recently at the age of 95. Throughout that time the staff treated him with dignity, respect and understanding. He was treated as if he were a member of a large family and the nursing staff developed a deeply caring relationship with him. The quality of the food was generally excellent, there were activities to keep him engaged, the rooms and public areas were always spotless and the buildings and gardens were carefully maintained. I would dearly have liked to have kept him at home with me until the end, but he just required too much assistance; the staff at Rosewood Gardens were able to provide what he needed with care and professionalism. I felt involved in his care and the staff always kept me informed about his welfare. In his final days, a few of them visited him in hospital. Many thanks to the staff and residents of Rosewood Gardens.

Mum spent her last days at Rosewood and was cared for with respect and compassion. She often could not sleep at night but somebody would always be around to give her a cup of Milo some bikkies and a chat.

Rosewood is bright (with natural light), spacious and clean. Yet cosy and homely at the same time. It's all on the one level so it makes it very easy to find a staff member when you need one. Family can come and go as they please which made it truly like a second home for us. Staff are always welcoming and friendly and there's always a spare cuppa and piece of cake or even an extra meal should you stop by at that time.

Management of place is terrible, allowed a resident to actively harass other residents with no follow up or reporting, will be removing my mother from facility within a week. A place to be avoided at all costs! Be warned and aware

I think when living at home becomes difficult to manage for an older person and their family, Rosewood Gardens is an Aged Care facility to consider. My mother came here for an initial respite and spent 2 years at Rosewood Gardens. As other reviewers have mentioned the caring staff were the key in mums time at Rosewood Gardens. The nursing staff took such wonderful care of mum and became part of our family. Although mum didn't have a big appetite she always enjoyed the food and loved the activities and outings that are available at Rosewood Gardens. The management were always approachable and address ay items we raised promptly. The complex is always kept very clean and tidy. I would be happy to recommend Rosewood Gardens to my friends.

Both my parents spent the last couple of years of their lives at Rosewood Gardens, and couldn't have been happier. Very professional and caring staff in a very welcoming environment. Highly recommended.
