One of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne. Love their interior design - so much class and style. Staff is very pleasant. Food is great and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is fantastic. Another wonderful experience at Rosetta!

Beautiful food and lovely service. Perfect spot for date nights or special occasions. Outside is a bit loud, but that’s Southbank for you. 100% would recommend and would go back when the budget permits - it is a bit pricey!

Good spot for a group/business dinner or romantic evening. Food is great and the patio seating along the Riverwalk is fantastic for people watching.

Highly recommended for a fine dining experience and value 10/10. Staff are amazing and their attention to detail right down to cleaning bread crumbs off our table cloth. They have gained new patrons with us next time we are in the city.

A Terrible Experience

We embarked towards this highly rated and exquisite dining experience in the prestigious crown precinct. However, the whole experience was a complete and utter disappointment.

The most apparent thing that ruined our time at this restaurant was the poor service. The waiters all had a terrible and inhospitable attitude. They expressions were as if we were wasting their time and owed them a million dollars. When wiping down the table, the waitress was directing the food scraps towards us, staining our clothing. The waiters were extremely reluctant to help us.

At the end of the meal, the waiter demanded a compulsory tip. We were put in a position where we were forced to fork out a tremendous and ridiculous amount of money. Tips are essentially a donation to reflect the good service of the waiter. However, for someone that was actively destroying our dining experience, the audacity to ask for such is ludicrous. The one and only time they smiled at us was when we gave them the tip. This just goes to show how indecent the service is.

All in all, it was terrible. Do not come here. You’re hard-earned money would be much better spent elsewhere.

Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was of outstanding quality. We were also gifted complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Will definitely come back again.

I went with my bestie. It was actually a lovely time.

I had the Gnocchi Flinders Island Lamb ragù.

The meat was soft and succulent, and the Gnocchi was perfection it wasn’t too soft, like when it gets all chewy and gross.

Staff had a little sparkle in their eyes, like all they wanted to do is help and do their best, it was refreshing.

Spiral down.don’t order a Pepsimax, it’s way too expensive! Legit, literally, everything under the moon, but! Overall, loved it

Was at Rosetta recently with the family celebrating T birthday dinner. Been here a number of times and still enjoy the plush decor. I had the duck which is quite perfect and the steak was nice too. But my wife's fish selection is a little over cooked. Overall is enjoyable night for all of us.

Recently attended a private function at Rosetta. Although the staff seemed lovely, the food was far below the standard and far below the quantity I expected for $160 pp.
The (burnt) bread & antipasto was served with just enough for everyone to have only 1 piece of each item. The entree, a pasta ragu bolognese was terrible. Pasta was undercooked, sauce was terribly over salted. A ragu is chunks of meat in pasta sauce.the sauce we were served was your typical bolognese with mince beef.
The cauliflower dish was lovely, but again, one tiny plate between 3/4 people is not sufficient. Prawns were nice, but again- only enough for 1 each. Salad was very basic, and again, tiny serves.
The main was Wagu beef, which was nice but quite rare and many pieces were very chewy & just could not break down the meat so had to spit them out. Double cooked potatoes were enjoyable but we only received 4 pieces on a table of 6.
Dessert- Panna cotta. The pudding was okay but the compote was awful and the pieces of orange on top did not pair well.
The only thing I thoroughly enjoyed was the cake that was brought in by the family hosting the function.but when it came time to serve the cake, staff had cut very inconsistent pieces. Some guests were served large slices, some served absolutely tiny slices.

Overall, very underwhelmed and sadly went home hungry.

An amazing restaurant. We come here every time we travel to Melbourne, the quality of the food is exceptional, the service is amazing and they have some very nice cocktails.

We had the set menu for 2 and were so full by the last course. Food was so good and the service outstanding. We will be back!

Had a lovely experience at Rosetta’s! Our waitress Kim was incredible and made our dinner feel so special! The place was beautiful and food was good too!

Celebrated mums 90th Birthday Sunday 15th Oct 2023 and found service levels and our meals to be of the highest quality. Highly Recommended!

Outstanding service and beautiful food. I was dining alone (booked a reservation) and it can be difficult to receive the same experience as larger groups, but everyone was absolutely wonderful. I was seated in the main area of the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I will definitely return.

We enjoyed our experience at Rosetta's, the food was fine, service good and the atmosphere is typically Italian.

I love Rosetta's for the food and the opportunity it gives you to meander your way through 3 or 4 courses and enjoy your time there with family. Great for celebrating a special occasion or catching up with people. The staff are always professional and attentive, the food is delicious.

Extremely average food, terrible service, the waitress would only ask my gf if she needs anything and kept trying to take our food and drinks away while we were eating. Go elsewhere this place is not worth a visit at all

Amazing service from Felicien in particular for his wonderful hospitality which capped off a wonderful night. Great food and the steaks are quite filling dispite given the small portions. Will definitely be returning!

Absolutely incredible food and friendly staff. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was the staff only addressed me regarding wine/food decisions and barely looked at my girlfriend when asking any questions which felt quite bizarre to us. It's 2023 lads
