If you are after a real fish and chips shop. This is it.
By the looks of it it is 3 generations working, grandparents, parents and kids. The beauty about it is they are greek and everything taste like back in the 90s when fish n chips was fish and chips.
I had the souvalaki that grandma made, dynamite!
Wife is very picky and said the fish was that fresh she would come back to rosebud for it

I had stopped buying fish & chips, because I was always disappointed. But then Rosebud Seafood Fish & Chips were recommended to me, and they DIDN'T disappoint me, absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection. My new local fish & chip shop! Much thanks.

Just ate the best hamburger I ever had. Like they used in the old days. It was fresh and filling. The chips are fresh and crisp and service with a smile. None other hamburger and chips come close to this on the Peninsula.

Not as good as the previous owner, but the new owners can only improve! Also not as friendly

Used to be one of the better fish & chips in rosebud but has been on a steady slide since new owners arrived. They are serving up very small quantities and quality has dipped.

I've been going here for 13 years.
Unfortunately no longer. Taters cakes too thick and lack crispness.
Chip serving has been reduced and not as good.

Fantastic burgers and just love the lamb souvlaki was Awesome, great staff and great service that’s why we keep coming back

Food was nice.not greasy. Only had a fishburger and chips to eat on the beach and share with the seagulls. But they have quite good menu.

Food was good except for the calamari rings.

And when I say that, I mean they were without a doubt the WORST calamari rings I've ever eaten in my life. I never throw out food but I had to with these, they didn't even taste like calamari, just artificially flavoured calamari sawdust formed into rings that I wouldn't even propose to my worst enemy with one.
I've had better calamari in Uluru and you guys are literally NEXT to the beach. Seriously guys I could go to Aldi, buy their worst frozen calamari rings, leave them in the sun for a week before cooking them and they'd STILL taste better than the calamari rings from this joint.
I saw Police walk in their and thought they were going to arrest the owners for cephalopod related crimes but they were just there for a feed. Again, the rest of the food was good but there is absolutely no excuse for the quality of those calamari rings.
For your own sake, and benefit of your customers, either find a new supplier, make your own, or take them off the menu.

Food was average. Potato cakes were thin, too much batter hardly any potato. Dim Sims were just ok.

Been going here for years, use to have the best flake and good size with nice batter, new owners over cook the food. Flake is so small like its been cut into 1/4 of the original owner. Prices use to be $38 before covid and i understand they went too 48$ but there is no reason for the price to jump to 56.80. I'll be going back to rye where its $52 and you get an extra 8 squid rings and 8 nuggets. And fish is excellent at hectors. Greed and poor work ethics dont last long in this town. Time to sell up and learn your trade. Bye

I told my wife that this was the best fish and chip shop in town and that she should try the burger and chips.it has been excellent in the past, but today they were microwaved and the burger was like it was dropped in the sink it was that wet.

We have been getting our fish and chips here for a good 7 years usually it’s pretty good, but recently the quality has gone down hill, dry fish under cooked chips,
Has the shop been sold or taken over?
We wont be back unless you up your game and give people what they pay for.

I am local to this fish and chip shop and have been going there every Friday for many years. It has recently been sold and have given the new owners a chance. However this evening the prices have gone up and the amount of chips we received probably halved, fish very small and oily. Very disappointing, will be looking elsewhere for our Friday evening fish and chips.

Simply great fish & chips! The burgers are delicious too, but order before peak time (5: 30pm) as not available during the busier times to keep wait times to a minimum. Despite the current potato shortage the quality of the chips was amazing! Best chips we’ve had in the past 2-3 weeks despite others serving below average quality chips. Highly recommended!

Disappointing that a fish and chip shop so close to the beach is selling packaged pre crumbed prawns and calamari, instead of fresh prawns/calamari deep fried in batter.

Vary friendly store. Chips were almost perfect, maybe needed to be a little crunchier but that's a personal preference. Burger with the lot we thought was an easy 8/10 and I thought the lamb souva was spot on though a little difficult to eat due to the foil wrapping. Will definitely eat there again when in the area.

Butterfish, potato cakes and sea scallop all awesome. I saw some bad reviews on here but ignore them. Batter and potato nice n thick, fish was yum! Not oily or anything. The lady serving me was very nice and cheerful. Happy local customer!

To add paid extra for beetroot. Slice slightly larger than a 50c piece. This is our f&c shop of choice all year round. And disappointed with their response when l called to bring it to their attention. What do you what me to do about it?

Good fish and chips but the minimum of chips is So small it’s embarrassing only enough for 1 adult
