From the very beginning our team felt comfortable with Room 3’s approach but importantly, confident in their experience and vision. Erin and Lara understood our brief and the challenges we faced. When we first met, they gave us a variety of options, and were clear on timelines. As we progressed with our project, we found their flexibility, problem-solving capabilities, idea enhancements and process exceeded our expectations. I have worked with Room 3 on a number of projects focusing mostly on a developing video assets to promote a Fairtrade program called The Women's School of Leadership in Timor-Leste. Lara, Erin and all the team are easy to work with, endlessly patient and calm under pressure. They manage international film crews in developing countries with ease, and have an excellent understanding of what needs to be shot to provide content to fit with the initial brief. I've always been impressed with the final products and the value of money they represent. As a result, the videos produced here are often used by my colleagues internationally. I have no hesitation recommending them.

We worked with Room3 on a short promotional video for our not-for-profit law centre. It was a really positive experience. The team was professional, friendly and easy to communicate with. I was concerned it might be difficult to work remotely but they flew to Sydney for a day of shooting and facilitated everything else to happen online. We got a great result with lots of positive feedback from our networks. We'd recommend them to other orgs looking for a professional product and a manageable cost.

I worked with Room3 on The Bilum Story, film produced for the PNG-Aus Partnership and contracted to TDi. We were looking for partners who could help us achieve a big goal - producing a short documentary in remote PNG, in the middle of a pandemic. All with a fixed deadline and lots of risk. We had videographers in PNG and were looking for producers who were committed to partnership and could direct and pull together a beautiful story and cinematic film. We chose Room3 for their film skills, confidence and experience in working remotely, understanding cultural contexts and hardcore project management skills. And they didn't disappoint. Seriously, we had covid outbreaks, last minute flight cancellations, crazy logistics to manage and the Room3 team remained unflappable. They kept a can-do attitude, were creative, resourceful, thoughtful and sensitive. They helped us to create a film that we are truly proud of. The best part was the reaction from the PNG women who were involved when they exclaimed 'you have told our story'. Thank you Room3.

Plan International Australia worked with Room3 to create an animated explainer video on the importance of girls’ education in achieving climate justice. Room3 helped us to tell this story in a clear, concise and really engaging way. Every step of the process was clearly explained and from storyboarding to the final outputs the project ran seamlessly. Room3 has helped us to tell a complex story with creativity and flair. Couldn’t recommend Room3 enough.

Room3 helped me turn a difficult concept into a short animated brand video that I'm really happy with. Room3 were easy to work with, responsive and professional. They were understanding and patient when I needed to engage more stakeholders for feedback during the scripting. Definitely recommend working with Room3. I particularly like that they specialise in animation and work lots with non-profit organisations like us.

Following our recent Biomimicry project my advice is - If you have an idea that you want to share, take it to Room3 let them do their magic whilst working alongside you and you'll end up with a product and an impact greater that you could have ever done by yourself. We worked with Room3 on the development of a short issues focused video. From start to finish, Room3 just "got it" - they understand the not-for-profit space so well that briefing them in was a breeze, they were continuously considering potential issues and ways to maximise the effectiveness of the video. They took initiative to get it done in a way that made it incredibly easy for us as a client. They immediately understood our brand guidelines to create something that was fresh and new but consistent and on brand.
