One of the best parks around.
Great water play space, tall slides, and nearby to toilets, drinking water, shade for carpark and snacks, sporting fields for more active activities.
The view of city, river, shipping movements and under the Bolte.

Decent opened area can set up tents, with a generator, great for BBQ’s, outdoor water sports like water guns in the summer! Great for exercise and sports as well the Bolt Bridge is of ganrganuas size and perfect for running under or riding your favourite E-Bike under

Yet another marvel of underwhelming Melbourne City Council planning. You have the great gardens the other side of the city with lush cooling green elms, planes and Oaks that people love to sit under. Then you have the modern box ticking park designed by the current generation with hot, dry gums and natives that just enhance that 'stuck in the Simpson desert' feel where the planting is led by some misguided patroism that all we are hanging out for is to feel what it's like to be stuck in a dry hot baking plain. Oh and no 'real' park just the usual catering to sports people with a huge open field.

Park itself is a beautiful spot looking at the CBD of Melbourne. There's barbecues on site and tables and chairs. Toilets are always pretty clean but unfortunately they seem to be closed fairly early for some reason.

Cool park with city views. Large oval to play on too. Toilets. Benches. No picnic tablespoon that I saw.

Nice place for kids to play. Bit sandy. Little cold under the bridge in shadow.

There is a big oval for kids and pets to play as well.

Toilets available on the building next to play area on far side.

Gem in the city. Nice place to chill out with the friends and family. Also it is close to docklands and many good restaurants. Parking is free for 3 hours. Nice place just in the middle of the city and near to the tram stop where you get City circle 35 and number 70.

This park is different than usual, kids can learn activities similar to the ones performed at the Gold mines I believe.the tube slide is fun but not suitable for children below 3 years

It'd be great to have accessible public toilets. They're there, but were locked. The little kids, aged 4 and 1, loved this park. Water pump, lots of climbing play, tyre swings, slides. Dog off lead area next door

Free 3P very close to the city. If you are in for a short meeting, it just a short distance from the nearest tram station. Good parking hack near CBD.

My Kids Love this Park. Great for Older Kids too. The fact that the Toilets and Oval Lights stay on till 2200hrs is great. The Oval is Dog Friendly too. Wouldn't have found this if the Docklands hadn't run the Drone Show over Summer. We NEVER got to see the show (due to Windy Weather) but the Kids didn't mind as long as they got to Play in the Park.

Some clown DJ wanna be keeps having a pop up "rave" in the car park behind the play ground on random nights. About 40 people turn up usually- Starts at midnight and goes until 5-6am (or until police arrive). Very very annoying once it gets past 1 or 2am

Good park to enjoy with family in a hot day. It has sand playground, easy parking options, BBQ and toilets relatively close. Not to crowded. Splash area is not too big but fun enough for kids.

Nice patch of green among all the concrete of the city. Nice for runs and sport plus a lot of people take their dogs here

An amzing find, under the line of the Boulty bridge.
My view by star light, humid, children laughing, games being play on the grounds
When you think you know Melbourne, magic happens

A fairly decent park. It's a wide open space with some soccer goal posts and a trail to run around and some nearby bathrooms and benches as well. Overall it's worth the trip.

Was there on a beautiful spring day around lunch time and there was many families using the barbecue facilities and tables.
Being so close to a number of high rise apartments there should be more than the one double BBQ and two bench/chairs. Also there is very little shade.
Playground is OK. Looks great, but nothing very original as far as playgrounds go.
