Romeo's of Toorak

We accidentally found this place and the food tasted so good especially the portions of them, dishes came in really big size and with patiently introduced by staff. The drinks are also fine, we enjoyed ourselves at Romeo’s and we would like to visit again.

Pleasing to find this place open until quite late during the week. Unfortunately food or drinks didn’t compliment. Poor quality of Coffee, Hot Chocolates & Crepes.

Lunch with friends, way too much sauce on dishes just drowns anything else, altho still able to find hair in one dish. Noticed the chef with quite long hair had no hair covering. This place could be really good but think standards are slipping.

An institution in the Toorak area. Food is good but certainly overpriced for what is effectively, pub grade meals. Great service from friendly staff.

Besides the pasta that I ordered tasting like it was undercooked. The Seafood salad that my mum ordered was very yummy. Everything else about our dinner at this restaurant was fantastic & we would go back here again

Average drove 1 hour, entree came after the main, pasta dish I have bland, waitress stood talking water never topped up

I come here for the sweets especially the crepes they are a huge serving and very tasty. They also do a great chai latte. I haven't had savoury food here yet but want to try it soon as it always looks homely and big servings. Great Italian restaurant.

This restaurant needs to teach their staff how to behave while at work. We were enjoying our dinner last night until a waitress came up stairs and started fighting the other waitress. Swearing and yelling at her the other waitress was a lot more professional and didn’t take part in the yelling and the other one continued to call her names which is sickening to see because there were kids around and both tables were celebrating their birthdays. This kind of workplace abuse shouldn’t be happening. The food here are amazing but that scene ruined our night.

Came down to eat here for lunch, and was greeted friendly by the charming boss, George! Accompanied by the very warm hearted waitresses namely Tabitha, Achan, and Lauren that helped made our lunch experience very very worth it. Food was very filling. I recommend ordering entre size!

We loved it here. It’s a retro tour de force. The menu’s out of the 80s, same with the food, but in the best way. The portions were sizeable and the ingredients fresh as. I loved my chicken scallopini. The chicken was tender and still moist, and the sauce so was a beauty. I loved the abundant veggies too and most of all I loved the baked potato in foil with sour cream. Absolutely classic and delicious. My companions loved their dishes too. My friend had the spaghetti marinara. I have never seen more seafood on one of those in my life. The service was terrific here tonight. Our main server was from Brazil and she did a wonderful job. This was a terrific experience. A really welcome trip back in time. We’ll be back for sure!

My friends and I had the carbonara, lasagne, spaghetti marinara, tagliatelle chicken and ofcourse garlic bread

The best were the carbonara and tagliatelle chicken. I would recommend skipping the garlic bread- it’s very standard not the best. Only bad part of the meal: (

I expected better. When we first arrived I liked the atmosphere and I thought that the food would be good. Unfortunately it was not. The meals were not enjoyable. The food was tasteless and bland.

Warm and cosy environment. Friendly staff. Generous servings of food and really tasty. Offer gluten free pasta!

First time here and it was a pleasure warm cosy and inviting atmosphere good range of menu selections with generous serving sizes despite a booking mix up they were able to shuffle some tables and accommodate our group service was fast and friendly

Food was really good. Service was a bit slow but was very busy. Lots of smiles and laughs so very good atmosphere

Had late night desserts here. Desserts were excellent but the service was terrible (seemed like only to us). Probably we were not enough for them to serve. How about putting a sign "Toorak residens only"? Then we both could be happier at the end of the day!
