Roll'd Barkly Square reviews
57Ordered thru ubereats. There was no pork crackle in the banh mi, and the roll wasn't toasted. I also ordered a poached chicken soldier and the one that was delivered didnt have poached chicken in it. It wasn't crispy either, so goodness knows how the chicken was cooked. Won't be ordering again
I can't believe they get away with calling dishwater and noodles Pho, worst meal I've ever paid for
The food was Ok but the service from the young girl working Wednesday evening was disgusting. Very rude and I would never go back.
I typically refrain from leaving negative reviews, but in this case, I must give it a 1-star rating. The rice paper roll tasted quite unpleasant, almost like leftovers, and the rice paper itself was as hard as a rock. If it were possible, I would have rated it a minus -10.
An okey place for a quick bite. Tried the rice bowls but not much flavour. The most disappointing thing was that both the times we came here they didn’t have the Vietnamese iced coffee. Their reason for that was that they do not have the ingredients. For a Vietnamese place, this shouldn’t be the case as Vietnamese iced coffee is the significant drink of them and anyone coming to a Vietnamese restaurant would expect that to be available.
Worst customer service, mean and rude. I woulnt be surprised if they threw the banh mi at my face. Wont be coming back.
$11 for a Vietnamese roll.for that price I was thinking it better be the best one I'ver ever had. Pork dry, didn't get any crackling. Roll was tiny, nothing in it except 1 bit of cucumber and tiny bit of carrot.very disappointed.
Trash. They don’t even make their own sauce fresh and rice paper rolls over stuffed with noodles and falling apart and flavourless. Don’t waste your money
A big disappointment from Roll’d. I ordered banh mi for $11. It was so small and no flavour in it whatsoever. It’s just a small roll filled with carrots and a bit of pork. I looked at the server’s face hoping he will top my roll with sauce but nope. What happened to that liver pate, sauce or chilly like any other normal banh mi place in Melbourne. Do they even understand what product they are selling? If they’ve been receiving low reviews, surely they should reflect and improve the product.
How does ordering a premade rice paper roll turn into the hardest issue for the people working behind the counter
Avoid this place. Zero effort or care put into the food they prepare. Don’t read orders properly and send wrong food and drinks out. Just an absolute waste of time and money.
Great meal and service by the young folk working here. I would recommend the Tofu and mushroom Pho. Good price and value.
Rang up to order our usual take away order that we purchase on a regular basis. Only this time to be spoken to incredibly rudely by a staff member telling us that what we normally order is not allowed and is not a part of the deal (we get it ever time and it was a slight modification). My partner tried to politely explain we get the same order every time and have never been told in over a year that we could not order what we were requesting. The staff member proceeded to cut my partner off saying “don’t complain, that’s how it is. I’ll do it this one time but that’s not a part of the deal so it won’t be happening again. I told you it’s not allowed”. At this point my partner hung up and obviously was not comfortable ordering. Regardless of whether there was a misunderstanding with an order request or not, it is never acceptable to speak to a customer the way my partner was spoken to. Disappointing.
The reason for low reviews speaks for them selves, utter most disgusting service, low attitude and no person skills will not recommend to anyone. He told me to wait after 10 mins of waiting and said he was to busy to deal with me
Probably the worst banh mi in Melbourne. Served in a hot dog bun? No crunch, chunky fillings, and wildly soggy. The sog factor was just too much for me, I couldn't eat it. Any Vietnam familia's baker would be better than this. Light years away from Nhu Lan. Please try harder if you want to take our money.
Ok place. Kinda expensive but it's clean, warm and you know what you're getting. There is literally no reason to go eat at McSpews when this place is in the same building and is cost adjacent plus no meth is being sold here. I'm not saying they are selling meth at the McBlowchunks here but I'm not not saying it. You decide.
Had a extremely negative experience with Roll’d Barkly Square. Ordered pho with beef and chicken; got something that was not the slightest bit pho. Pho does not have shredded carrots or cucumber, has basil and meat that is thinly sliced and tender. What I ordered looked nothing like the menu either.
I took a few bites and threw the rest in the bin after taking this photo. Contact made on their website was useless as I did not receive a response; it has been a week since contact was made.
Love Roll'd. Only loses a star because the quality of the rice paper rolls isn't always consistent. Some days are way better than others, but still good overall. Great healthy lunch or snack.
Ordered pho for take away and they wrap the soup badly as the soup spilled on the way I walked home. I also found plastic in my soup!
I have never been so disappointed in a meal before.
A fork full of coleslaw was a huge disappointment to say nothing about the disgusting pork would be a shame, overpriced for what it was. The pork was dry over salted and deap fried, it was so dry I could hardly chew it.
The bowl was filled with rice, it could have been filled with coleslaw and made it at least somewhat edible.
I just read your feedback on my post. I'm not complaining about the rice, apart that there was way to much of that and no salad. I was complaining about the pork and lack of salad.
