I can't fault this salon as a whole - however if are wanting your hair cut and are a first timer to the salon, I could not emphasize more that you should not get booked with Chris. The girls at the salon colored my hair perfect don't get me wrong. I walked in with hair below my collar bones, I asked for it to be kept the one length and just at my shoulders with thining as I have quite thick hair (I've had my hair cut like this for 5 years now so nothing out of the ordinary). I thought all was going great as my hair was feeling lighter throughout the cut and the front bits of my hair were around the length i asked for, obviously i wasn't paying much attention to the back of my hair. I got home and my friends realized Chris had given me an under cut at the back of my hair and given me an angled bob? What the hell, why would anyone decide to cut your hair like that without even asking you first, especially when my hair has never been like that. What made it worse is that I complained to the salon and weeks later went back for a blow wave from one of the girls, and Chris approached me asking how I liked my hair and tried to tell me the way he had a cut it is what 'suits my hair best' because of it's thickness, even when I told him I never asked for an undercut or for this type of style. I couldn't even put my hair up into a pony tail or low bun without having the undercut hair hanging out like a rats tail because it was so short i couldn't even bobby pin it! His response was 'just keep growing it out then'. Thanks for the advice, never thought I'd have to have a debate with a principal stylist over what my hair should look like. Lucky I've found a salon that actually listens to me to get my hair back to what it was but could not speak anymore poorly of this hairdresser who now has my hair stuffed for the next 3 months until it grows back to the one length!

Great place.but from my experience (man) i always feel rushed. Staff are young or the ones i get.so you are not sure if your the experiment for the trainee to cut her teeth on.

The service IS NOT WORTH the price at all! Terrible hairdressing I’d ever had. I felt terrible when I received so many disappointing comments on my hair colour. Won’t do the same stupid mistake again!

My experience was excellent! Great team and friendly staff! Carmel did an amazing job with my colour. Chris is so patient and gave me a wonderful cut and style, I felt feeling like a star! As for price, I have been to few other salons who charged the same but are not even near as good!

Wow the cost! Charges for the job you get is ridiculous and no i was not advised prior to starting but my fault for not asking in a small suburban hairdressers. Plus i had a girl JUST out of her apprenticeship - $315 for 1/4 head foils and trim of fringe - no dry.

If you like leaving a salon with worse hair than you came in with, Then rokk ebony is the place for you.
Stupid me, second time I have been for a colour, please go to a legitimate place instead. This is the worst of the worst/ awkward/ most uncomfortable/ unflattering expieience. My younger sister & mother included, our whole household has had this same bad experience.

Rude and patronising staff. Got a hair quote here, but I won’t be coming back. There’s plenty of better salons around.

Such lovely and professional staff who listened intently and whole heartedly to exactly what I wanted; and indeed, provided just that. Never been so happy with my hair before! Worth every penny.

The price was high but the results were excellent! I walked in feeling like a frump and walked out feeling glamorous. No more hiding under caps! The staff (there's quite a few) asked PLENTY of questions and proceeded to cut and colour my hair and checking it's still what I wanted every step of the way. Maybe they sensed I was fussy.the reason I hate going to hairdressers. The staff apparently are expected to train some more in their methods of hairdressing, which is good because they got my highlights right at 1st go! I have black hair.so it IS a challenge.
In the end the near $250 I paid was worth it. People kept asking me where I got my hair done, and then groaned at the price. You get what you pay for! Rokk Ebony at Rowville

Honestly the team here are great. I love the results. Every time I go somewhere else I end up going straight back to Rokk Ebony and they just fix and transform it immediately. No where else knows how to do my hair better.

No more going anywhere else. Rokk ebony is the way to go and the girls here are just so sweet and caring.

I was there to achieve a blonde color and a sylish cut. I recieved a razor cut! Yes razor! Then proceeded to sit there for 4 hours to walkout out very brassy and dry. I waited 5 weeks as recommended to go back for my next color and came out ASH! Went back again to recitify problem to no avail except more dry hair$600 later i looked awful. I was recommended a very good local who was amazing. A beautiful color and although most of the back of my hair had to be chopped off due to damage it looks wonderful! So expensive doesnt always mean they are better. I have learned my lesson.
