Waited 45 minutes for food. Chips were in Warner for 30 minutes so ask for fresh ones. Food was ok. Need to get Sam back.

Just a shout out, new owners, and fish was lovely and fresh, crispy outer with home made potato cakes, a must. Very nice, and happy to continue to keep going there. Usually new owners change things. Good to see this is still good, if not better.

Have they changed hands?

They sell sth Melb Dim Sims but No Vegetarian! Very dissatisfied.
And after putting my Vegetarian Burger in waiting area they didn't put the heat lamp on which I have never known a food place not to put heat lamp on while waiting for other food. (and it was a while)
Sorry people but due to they look after Vegetarians with more of a menu I have switched back to Golden Horeshoe.
You had my family for a couple of years.
Great service nice people, sometimes the burgers taste like fish from cooking on same hot plate (not a fan of having a burger taste like fish and not keeping them far enough apart!)

Great new owners who seem enthusiastic and learning the trade. It tastes a lot different and possibly for the better. Good on them - also proud to see the community coming together to help these new owners too ️

Souvlaki, burgers and fritters wasn’t the best!

Souvlaki’s was greasy, lamb dry, onions chopped incorrectly! My souvlaki had the head of a lettuce in it, which was concerning

The Aussie Burger was sloppy, greasy, bacon wasn’t cooked enough, egg was overcooked, fell apart & just downright terrible!

Banana fritter was dry and the banana wasn’t ripe & the pineapple fritter pineapple wasn’t cooked through properly! They were hard!

The only good thing to come out of it was our chips!

Me and my family didn’t enjoy our dinner! We wanted to try this restaurant out but we won’t be ordering again! We will go to other restaurants who can do better! Thanks!

Unfortunately it appears of though there are new owners. We placed a stock standard phone order, burger, fish, potato cakes, dim sitms and chips. Arrived to pick up order and burger was made and in the bain Marie. Waited as the chips fish and dim sims were wrapped and then they realised that they forgot the potato cakes. As we watched in slow motion the potatoes cakes were found and placed into the fryer. Eventually they were removed and wrapped and the order assembled. I estimate the burger was in the bain marie for 15 minutes. Sure enough we get the food home, burger Luke warm and soggy, chips and dim sims soft and the potatoes cakes hot and oily. After being a regular for some time we will now have to find a new fish and chip shop.

The new owner started getting better after a short period of chaos, I understandably this, the gummy was very fresh after my second visit, the burgers were good, and I could see the new owner improving.

What a shame. Was the best fish and chips in the area and my favourite. Bought fish and chips this evening and the quality has nose dived. Fish was dry and the batter was heavy. The chips were almost inedible, dry and hard. Nothing like they use to be. What happened?

This is the best fish and chips shop in my area. Every time I have purchased food from it, it has not disappointed me. This place is incredible, sure the owners don’t speak perfect english but they do there best to understand the customers. The fresh produce and amazing attitude from the owners makes it a fun place to get food from.

If I could put no stars. I WOULD! I assume it’s new owners. But it’s impossible to place an order as they don’t speak or understand English. I was stuck on the phone for 5 minutes repeating myself. Food was under cooked. Potato cakes were very oily. No salt when I specifically asked for chicken salt.could atleast put regular salt instead of none. Ordered for a family of 4 and came to just over $90. Could have ordered a family box from McDonald’s and wouldn’t be left feeling sick from the oil. Not to mention be paying half the price. The owners were arguing with eachother which had made my son and I very uncomfortable. I had placed my phone order but when I got there apparently my chips weren’t put in so I had to wait while the rest of my food had gone cold. I had heard the workers telling one of the owners to put the whole order in because now I had to wait. So wouldn’t say it’s there fault. They looked very stressed out. Going to miss the old owners. They were the best and really made you feel welcomed. Such a shame to see a few good workers and the owner leave. Going to have to find a new fish and chip shop.

IF I could give this place no stars, I certainly would! What has happened? ! I used to come here all the time! It used to be so good and worth the drive for me! Now it’s not, they are so rude! Their food is absolutely disgusting now. Will not be back!

I thought I entered a nightclub.
Music was so loud that me and person taken my order couldn't hear each other. Plus was headbashing music.
Food was ok but customer experience was very low.

My first time to try this little hidden gem in Mill Park last night. Service with a smile, food cooked to order and all in a covid safe way. Thank you

Did a phone order was told it will take 20 min which l arrived in 25 min lst of all order wasn’t ready then they over charged me which l question waited for another 15min when l went up to counter which l was told it will b only 2min waited another 10mins when l approach the counter again was told they were busy when no apology spoke erupt another customer spoke badly to me which it wasn’t no of his business the staff have got no customer service and have no idea to run a business if the order wasn’t for my elderly mum l would of got a refund l did a phone order to expect to b ready when l arrived to top it all the food was cold if l could give them no stars l would have lost me as a customer

Very disappointing delivery tonight ordered $70 worth of food via menulog and only got 2 items call shop and its out of there hands not there problem

The battered calamari rings came slimey, chewy and undercooked, with no batter on them. Also, one of the burgers tasted like makeup or soap.

Best Fish and chip shop by a long shot, shop is always spotless, great food, great people, very very generous
