I have just discovered Roccella and the food is so so good. Staff are super friendly and always up for a laugh or smile, and always busy. Great place for me as a local.

Lovely place next to Fitzroy Park. The fettuccine pasta is a must try! Pistachio pizza is unique and gelato is great. Will definitely be back again!

Roccella was everything I want in an Italian restaurant - wood fire pizzas to perfection, impeccable service and delicious pasta, along with an impressive cocktail menu. Worth a trip to East Melbourne to check it out!

Went here on Sunday before the footy at the MCG. Table for 7 people and a fantastic afternoon had. Great food with excellent service. Lots of patrons all seemed to be having a great time. Will be back for sure!

My experience was generally good however, in the interests of feedback, for your information, I ordered one bottle of the Zerella Cabernet Sauvignon, McLaren Vale, SA. I was served one glass of the Rockcliffe Third Reef Cabernet Sauvignon, Great Southern, WA.
I advised the waiter that I had ordered one bottle of the Zerella Cabernet Sauvignon and the single glass was taken back and one bottle of the Rockcliffe Third Reef Cabernet Sauvignon, Great Southern, WA was delivered.
I decided that it was all too hard and I kept the Rockcliffe Cabernet Sauvignon which was a 2018 vintage and a very average wine.

Tasty dishes and pizza's but meals weren't served at same time with nearly 15 min from 1st person served to last person on table.staff were very helpful with ordering particularly for kids

Disappointing experience. My pasta was overcooked and soggy, the meat balls tender, but bland. My son's ragu was tasty, but well short of al dente and under done. The price was relatively high as expected, but a Long weekend surcharge of 15% surprised.

Friendly staff, delicious meals and staff accommodated all the needs of our group lunch.

Excellent place with nice ambience. Staff was very helpful and guided through menu. Fast service, taste and quality was fantabulous.

I have been here twice and both times have had amazing pizza. What makes it is the dough, perfectly proven very light and soft and crunchy at the same time. Also cooked to perfection from a skilled pizzaiolo. The price is reasonable given the quality you are getting. Service is friendly, warm and prompt.

My wife and I, plus two guests, thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. I would rate it 5 stars.

The only improvement which you might consider would be the installation of sound-deadening material on the walls. People like me with poor hearing have difficulties understanding conversation at the tables.

I was surprised to discover this place when I was in the area. I stopped for lunch and loved my focaccia. We came back for my birthday and it was equally delicious. Perfect spot for both brunch as well as pizzas. They have great deli ideal for pasta at home, desserts, cheese and picnics.

Best authentic Italian pizza and amazing sourdough base. Great personalised service. Would highly recommend Roccella to anyone.

The staff appeared friendly and the chocolate sorbet & hazelnut gelato was delicious. It was great that they had vegan options available.
