I used Robot Trading a number of years ago. Then, I got the feeling then that as I was a DIY'er and not a tradie, they couldn't care less and I was a bit of a nuisance. Not so this time! I only had a small order but Robot Preston were great. Special thanks to Caroline who was diligent in keeping me informed about the progress of my order. Robot Preston are a real alternative to the 'big green machine' just down the road and I will definitely use them again.

I recently needed to buy a couple of large sheets of MDF which were far too big to transport in my car. The MDF was quite a bit cheaper than the same prouct at Bunnings and the delivery cost was significantly less. Ordering was easy online and it was delivered promptly by a friendly driver - thanx Robot!

Waited 2 hours for an order (in store). Was told previously that it was ready to go. Finally got the order to the job and was short, after we gave them the dimensions for the job. Also didn't add in the screws for the sheets. Will never purchase anything from these guys again

Was planning to order online but one of the items was not on the website. Sent an email through of my requirements to the Preston store delivery fee was $20 dollars more than on the website. Paid over the phone for goods on Thursday arvo was told would be delivered the following Tuesday. 2pm Tuesday afternoon I heard nothing so I called them. They told me it would be delivered the next morning. Delivery was dropped on the front nature strip with no notification. After going through my delivery I was missing items from my order. They neglected to notify my. So again had to chase up on my missing items and was told I had to wait until Friday. My whole experience was underwhelming to say the least.

Walked in off the street, not a tradie, no idea, but was made to feel like I was important to their business anyway. Definitely recommend great prices, great range, great people I was their 8am on a Saturday morning warehouse even helped load my trailer.

Anyone who has given this place a low star rating is a bootlicker demanding undivided attention for a $12 piece of steel. We started buying from this Robot about 5 years ago and are now an account holder. Scott and Diane are fantastic, and the yard boys always go the extra mile when I require particularly accurate cuts. A big thanks to Raj and Andrew for their hard work. If you go in with a well thought out product list (their online store has most of the general range) the service is quick and efficient.

Nice enough guys but soooo slow. They say they open at 7.30 but that doesn’t include turning on the computer and waiting 10 minutes then making a coffee. I’ve seen snails move faster
