Roadhouse South Wharf

If you're an outgoing person, or looking for hiking and camping apparel, Roadhouse has you pretty much covered. From hiking shoes to puffer jackets to crocs and whatnot, there's a little bit of everything here. My friend waa looking for a thin jacket, like a windcheater, but thinner. Although we couldn't exactly find our item of choice, the staff tried their best to help us, which is always appreciated.



That being saud, we found the prices to be quite decent, nothing egregious here. I really liked their range of hiking boots and the jackets.



I recommend this place, especially during the discount season, so that you can grab some sweet deals. Other than that, it's kinda a little like Kathmandu, with some other items as well. Happy shopping!

I had the best customer experience served by Rebecca! She is so friendly and knowledgeable. I purchased a pair of safety boots, a high-vis vest and a work cap. She explained the products first, answered all my questions and nicely recommended the best choices when I was sitting on the fence about the size and the colors. Will be definitely back here.

I recently purchased a pair of Redbacks and I can safely say I had one of the best customer experiences here in recent memory. I didn't catch the name of the man who served me but he really made the experience worth every dollar spent on the shoes. Told me about the company, sized me perfectly and even shook my hand at the end of it. Will definitely be going back!

Have been twice in the last year and highly recommend this shop for all workwear needs.
Every staff member that I’ve spoken with was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Super friendly too with even a couple of laughs between us, making it such a quick, smooth and enjoyable shopping experience which is rare these days unfortunately. Was here in Melb from ADL for holiday, never knew ill be back home with steel cap boots instead of Jordans.
One of the boot caught my eye as i about to go pass the shop and staff went straight up to me gave me a hand, as he was walking to get my size, other bloke said “He’s the best. ”, without telling them my size, he only need 1 look at my feet for 1 sec and accurately nailed my size, the boot (Mongrel) were comfortably as heck ngl. As Diesel Mechanic, after 4 pairs steelblues, olivers etc, finally found the right boot with the best cushioning and comfort.
And hey, aussie made so why not.
Walked around the mall and town with it on just to break it in.after for about 5-6 hours mate no worries.no ankle or knee pain

My other point is, staff members here were very helpful and nice. I’m an unbiased type of person but man this guy is different hah.
If you need a hand, speak to the guy name Con. Love his enthusiast very much. He explain it all, gave me all information that i needed.

Somehow I had a bad experience by a lady in the South Warf store. Once the lady realised I was little bit confused about the shoe should I buy she became rude and asked me not to waste their time, whereas I only asked her to show me only one pair before. However, I always try to be empathetic and never experienced this before!

They are great staff in this shop.
Giving you time and space to explore what you want with good explanation on any products.

Really bad customer service, does not know how to speak to customers shows big attitude! Will not recommend this place at ALL
