Roadhouse Essendon

Just had a wonderful experience at the Roadhouse Essendon store! Stephanie assisted us with purchasing purchasing a new pair of boots. Stephanie was warm, efficient and respectful - thank you so much!

Can't return and get a refund even though I bought them an hour ago. Awful customer service

Woman i spoke to was so unnecessarily rude once i stated the nature of my call was about a Faulty Product
She said that the fault (which was cleared by the Manufacturer and acknowledged as a fault on their end) was caused by uncleanly living situation - Told me i had Silverfish and Moths

After telling the Lady that even Dickies (The Manufacturer) Recognized the error and noted that it was infact a quality issue on their end, she told me to E-Mail pictures of the Damage and the Receipt to which I didn't get a reply - After being a customer for a few years, I'm appalled at how i was treated as a customer and a returning one at that!

EDIT - Just to state the obvious, The Product was NOT USED with tags and still in original packaging.

Incredible customer service. It's been a while since I've experienced that level of helpfulness in a store. Being on a working holiday I required some safety gear. The team were extremely approachable and took their time to introduce me to the various brands and products. 5 star!

Staff very friendly and polite and helpful.would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I had purchased a pair of safety boots and was told that they would stretch a little and that they would be right. That wasn't the case. I wore them once and the took them back. So unfortunately I was told too bad it was my problem. I wasn't even offered a discount on a new pair. That one place not to shop at if you want good service.

You know it’s been such a long time since you’ve experience that level of quality customer service because it genuinely surprises you. Aaron and Taylor were both so helpful and approachable, they were personable and gave their time and expertise willingly and positively. I don’t care if they never offer a single discount, the experience was so pleasant and unlike retail these days I’ll be sure to go back!

Great customer service! Staff - Arron has been patient ly provided advice while I was trying a pair of shoes. He picked up my foot problem straight away. Not many people can notice my right foot is slightly wider compared to my left foot. His advice is pretty helpful to help me to make my decision.

OH MY WORD. An absolutely delightful.establishment that I had the pleasure of attending twice in 3 days due to my own stupidity. HOWEVER, the treasures of humans that run this shop gave me exceptional service on both occasions, tonight they remained open as i was running late - I had driven from bendigo after work so I could return some boots that I mistakenly purchased in the wrong color, when I arrived they were absolute gems, I wish I'd taken their names, all 4 of them were angels. Shop here, trust me, you will leave wanting to buy these people a beer. THANKYOU all of you, particularly the nice bearded man who helped a sister out on the phone giving me directions and being an all round legend

Absolutely incredible service! Was visiting from a different state and was by far the best service of my whole trip! I couldn’t have asked for better staff to help us out. The staff there deserve incredible praise they weren’t pushy at all just helpful. The store was very clean, tidy and organised. Just a extra special mention to Aaron he was such a brilliant worker, we went in for a jacket and because of him came out with so much more (in a good way)

Tried to return a pair of shoes I wasn’t happy with. They just straight up refuse refunds. While I accept it was on me considering I had bought the shoes 5 minutes beforehand I still expected good customer service since it would be an easy refund. The shoes were bought 5 minutes ago and hadn’t left the bag or the box. I’m not saying they were in the wrong. But they don’t try at all to be accommodating and were a little rude about the whole thing.

Happy with pairs of shoes I have purchased here for my tradie partner and myself. Good personalised service. Look forward to shopping here when lockdown finishes!

Called looking for a small sized boot and Sam offered to put a pair aside for me. When I came in to pick them up she went ABOVE and BEYOND fitting me with the right size, lacing them properly and explaining everything as she went. When I asked about work cargo pants too (because buying them for a female figure can be challenging) she didn't rest until she found a pair that fitted perfectly for my purposes.

I can't thank her enough for her time, knowledge and dedication to meeting a customer's needs. If you need anything workwear related, go and see Sam. She'll sort you out!

I purchased a pair of Ferracini boots from Aaron, at the the time they were not in stock in Melbourne and the trouble and time that Aaron took to get these boots from their W. A.store to Melbourne, you just don't get service like this anymore.keep up the great work, forever a Roadhouse customer.

Their service was exemplary. Ordered a pair of Birkenstocks for work, the owner of the store, Rowan, dropped them off to my house directly to avoid the long postage times during COVID-19. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size and had to exchange them, Rowan dropped the right size off to my house again the next day! Thanks Rowan and team!

I went with a mate to buy some work shoes. We had the pleasure of Sam helping us with sizing and style. Sam has excellent product knowledge and she has a great attitude. I would definitely shop here again purely for service like that
