The service was excellent.
Pork belly skewers and pork belly bao were the perfect dishes tonight. Black sesame ice cream was good. Salmon was great.
Only 7 tables in store, a little bit noisy. Great place for after work.

The best Japanese food that we’ve had in Melbourne! Amazing service, lovely atmosphere and such incredible food. Mind blown!

Went here with a friend who has been a number of times, loved it. Small restaurant with a personal service. Japanese isn’t my favourite food to eat, but this place maybe changed that. Popcorn prawns, bao buns, chargrilled teriyaki salmon, what a feast.

We’ve been to this place twice and the quality of their food is top notch! I highly recommend this place if you’re in the Bayside area. You can’t get any fresh Japanese seafood anywhere else but here:) the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating too. Go check them out!

Not your typical Japanese food. On the pricier side but when factoring in quality and portion, the price turns to be very reasonable.

Best Japanese in Bayside and a menu very similar to all the train station cafes around Tokyo. Tasty, reasonably priced byo and with suntory on tap. Awesome!

This is a great little find, Pork Belly Bao and the Skewers were all very tasty and great quality, the skewers are very small though and do add up, will be back!

Ridiculously overpriced for the quality and especially the amount of food provided.

We live 5 mins away and food was barely warm when we opened it.

Really beautiful Asian grill using freshest of ingredients like ginger and pumpkin. The Pink Mustache fillet steak is to die for. The hostess Sandy is so very welcoming, I will be a regular for sure.

Dinner with my partner & 2 kids for a special occasion and what a little gem of a place this is. Cosy space with friendly attentive service and top quality produce. We shared 7 dishes from the interesting & sensibly sized menu and were not disappointed with a single dish. A special of chargrilled calamari was an absolute highlight (hard to remember better calamari - kids agreed) & chargrilled beef skewers, pork belly bao, kingfish, teriyaki salmon - all fantastic. Sashimi on another table looked super fresh & delicious, we'll try that another time. ​
Price is fair for top quality food prepared with care. We will definitely be back. Loved it.

The best Japanese in the area. Staff so friendly. Food - amazing. We have been here several times and everytime we are treated like family. The menu is delicious and the specials are next level. We love this place and come back regularly. Definitely recommend.

AMAZING SERVICE! Ordered during Covid lockdown…went to pick it up and they cooked one of the dishes fresh on the spot so I got it fresh, they they realised they made an error and gave me the wrong dish so called straight away and delivered it straight away to my house. Went above and beyond. We’re friendly, serve delicious food and care about their customers. 100% will purchase again. Thanks team!
