I saw many negative reviews from 1 to 3 years ago. The shop might have had not as friendly staffs before, but they are now on another level. You may want to see that for yourselves folks.

Staff were helpful with information about the stock available. Tho found what I wanted in other store. Must check the store for quality clothing.

Very weird atmosphere, you will need to greet the staff to get a service. And the staff just stares at you when you are trying.

Went in there for a high quality pair of shoes, I'm very difficult and picky but Rhia (spelling?) Was a gem and helped me the whole way.

Boots were very nicely laid out, lighting was nice and the staff were very kind and helpful. Although I do believe the boots are a little bit too pricey they are of great quality.

Took shoes in to swap as they were a present and the wrong size. Like everywhere else the shop was understaffed due to covid. Fact of life atm unfortunately. Served by young man named Denmark who was run off his feet. He was the only employee there and the shop was getting busy. Denmark multitasked multiple customers and still provided the best service I can remember having in a very long time. Walked out with beautiful new shoes and a few extra bits and pieces as well. As we were leaving we discovered it was his day off. Denmark is a keeper Mr Williams. I’d employ him in a heart beat. Great work!

Unbelievably rude staff. I’ve been looking for good quality boots and have been told to check out this brand so I went in to have a look at the boots and try some on for size. The staff member was occupied with someone else so I decided to look around while he finished up with that person. When the person left staff approached and said “Are you just browsing or are you actually going to buy something? ” Who approaches a customer like that? Didn’t ask me if I was interested in anything particular or if I had a style in mind or if I wanted to try one of the boots on in my size, just straight into that snide remark.

Completely put me off buying the boots altogether. Seems like the bad reviews from this store a few months and years back still stand and nothing has been done about the awful customer service.

Wonderful experience today at Emporium ️ I was assisted by a very lovely representative who managed to answer all my questions and helped me find the perfect colour and fit. Unfortunately they didn't have my particular shoe in stock or at other stores close by however she provided me all the detailed I needed to order them online. I've heard amazing things about RM Williams with a few family members and colleagues owning a pair. I also wanted to support Australian made of course. Looking forward to receiving them soon! Well done guys!

Not sure what the sales associate’s name was today, but they helped properly fit me and assist with an exchange for a different size after an online ordering dilemma and they were extremely helpful! Much appreciated - great service. I’d recommend anyone wanting to invest in a pair of boots to come in and get fitted properly. Will definitely be back to buy another pair of RM’s soon. After years of close friends telling me how good R. M. Williams boots are, I decided to take a look. I popped in to the Emporium store and was greeted by Sasha who had excellent knowledge of the various styles and was prepared to source other sizes immediately from another store if required. In the end they had the perfect boot in the right size. I cannot believe how comfortable these boots are. In my case, no breaking in was required. They are the most comfortable footwear I have owned. Thank you Sasha.

Dear Area / Regional Manager, few questions for you.
Is customer satisfaction important to you? Are sales standards and customer service important to you? If so, you don’t seem to have done a damn thing about it, at the emporium store. Read the poor reviews, customer service in this store is putrid.
Staff with vacant looks on their faces chatted behind the counter with no greeting or approach for approximately 7mins, in an empty store on Saturday 3/4.
Took my custom to Melbourne Central where Oliver got a $1200 sale.
Pull ya finger out RMW Emporium - Staff Consistently subpar!

The shop assistant was abrupt, condescending and generally unhelpful despite the store being otherwise empty.

Worst experience. Waited for someone to serve me and was then given attitude by a guy named Bella. Won't be returning.

Worst shopping experience ever! I was intent of buying a pair of boots - preferably RM Williams particularly since I’ve had good service at other stores where I was told I could and did try on some mens fit boots which fit my extremely wide feet. The sales staff was unfriendly, extremely condescending and did not even offer or ‘allow’ me to try any of the boots I was interested in. Should have asked for the staff’s name!
