As a man who hates shopping, the young gentleman helped facilitate the purchase of some nice Macquarie boots. I didn't get catch the name of the young man who served me but he made the process as easy as possible.
These are now my favourite pair of boots. See you again soon.

Seriously poor customer service. Took 25mins to get served and the staff only seemed interested in helping if you were buying a pair of boots.
After getting no help in store at Chadstone we tried the online help which was just as bad. I don't feel RM care about their reputation and brand the way they used to.

Disappointing customer service. Waited for assistance while staff were aimlessly wandering. When an attendant finally became available they went straight for the customer that just walked in the door. Can only assume you judge your clients prior to deciding if their worthy of your products. Very sad given reputation of the brand.

Horrible Customer Service Experience.

I recently visited the R. M. Williams store at Chadstone and had an extremely unpleasant experience. After purchasing an $800 pair of shoes, I expected a certain level of customer service and professionalism. Unfortunately, the representatives at this store failed to meet even the most basic standards.

From the moment I entered the store, it was clear that the representatives were not interested in assisting me. When I requested to see different options for shoes, they were dismissive and rude, showing no willingness to help. It was evident that my presence as a customer was not valued at all.

To make matters worse, when I inquired about the sizing of a t-shirt, I was met with an astonishing response. The representative told me to figure it out myself, showing a complete lack of interest and professionalism. This kind of dismissive behavior left me feeling disrespected and ignored.

What disappointed me the most was the stark difference in treatment between myself and other customers. It was clear that there was a lack of consistency in customer service, as others seemed to receive far better treatment and attention. This differential treatment was unacceptable and highlighted the store's disregard for its customers.

Spending $800 on a pair of shoes is a significant investment, and I expected a high level of service to match the price tag. However, my experience at R. M. Williams Chadstone left me deeply regretting my decision. It is disheartening to see a company that fails to prioritize its customers and lacks a basic understanding of customer service.

As a consumer, I believe it is crucial to support companies that value their customers and provide exceptional service. Unfortunately, R. M. Williams Chadstone failed to meet these expectations. I would strongly advise against visiting this store if you expect to be treated with respect and receive the service you deserve.

In the future, I will be taking my business elsewhere, where I am confident that my patronage will be appreciated. R. M. Williams Chadstone needs to address their customer service issues urgently, as no customer should be subjected to such a disappointing experience.

I had trouble getting the right fit for my boots (combination of large and wide foot) initially the online order were too big, then the next pair too small. Kathleen was very helpful in giving me two options to try, I was very surprised they had both these big sizes in stock. I finally was able to get the right fit and look forward to wearing them for many years to come.

Shout out to Yardi! Very patient and helpful staff members, especially since there was little to no sizing for the most common Craftsman sizes & colours. Whilst he couldn't get a sale directly, Yardi helped me thoroughly try on a few sizes and profiles to get the right fit for an online order. Couldn't be happier with the choice I made, I wear them everyday to work now. Thank you Yardi! Merry Christmas!

When I came into the store to get my first pair of R. M. Williams today I was greeted by Cameron, he was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Cameron explained the different types of shoes to me and brought me several pairs until I found the the one that suited me best. Additionally Cameron even added a handshake at the end which was the cherry on the cake to the delightful experience. Although your wallet might not be happy, I can assure you that you’re going to be happy if you choose the right style and fit. Looking forward to to wearing these boots in as they age nicely.

Great service friendly staff but unfortunately didn't have the suede boots that my wife wanted we really would like them to bring the suede boots back ASAP

This has been my third time entering RM Williams at Chadstone. Each time as worse as the other. I entered the shop and was greeted by a young man who answered my question then pointed me to the change rooms very abruptly. As I came out, I waited around for follow up service, but felt a sense of judgment as the consultants were all standing around staring instead of helping. This isn’t the first time this has happened and it seems to be a reoccurring experience. I do love RM Williams products, but am always unfortunately leaving with the same feeling after I leave the store: Unsatisfied.
Something needs to change.

Disappointed with the lack of service at the Chadstone store despite supposedly being a flagship location. Although one of the male staff was busy with a customer, and the only other customers in store were at the counter - one of the other sales staff decided to be 'busy' adjusting items on the shelf. Waited for 5min without being acknowledged by anyone within the store itself. Expectations are somewhat higher given the premium pricepoint of its products and the increased RRP from July 2022.

It was a pity that the staff member greeting people at the door could not assist as she watched me enter and then leave without a purchase.

Despite the disappointment, decided to give R. M. Williams another try, this time a week later (in Commercial Bay, South Australia) and received amazing customer service by Chelsea.

Had a top class experience at RM Williams. Jacob was polite, very knowledgeable and helpful. V also helped my partner with his boot purchase. Both of us left very pleased with our boots. Looking forward to wearing them for many years to come

Love my RM Williams gear got a few sets of boots heaps of shirts and jeans, belts, dog collars, jackets
But today the older female staff member looked down at me as if she didn’t want me in the store as if I couldn’t afford to buy stuff I was after insoles for my boots, her attitude changed when she looked up my sales history and how much I’ve spent I walked out and didn’t spend a dollar in there the younger staff are so much more helpful
Lesson to staff don’t judge a customer
It is my local store but in future I will not shop here due to the way certain staff are

Absolutely wonderful team! Lorraine, April, Lily and Melody has great advice on how to get the perfect fit. They went the extra mile of bringing out multiple pairs of boots for me to try. A very pleasurable buying experience, relaxing and not rushed.
