13Worst support, where are the staff.live chat over an hour still not connected.on hold for 48mins so far.
Absolutely the worst. Takes at least 2+ hours on the phone and 90+ minutes wait in person, and even after waiting most consultants dont know how to do regular enrolment issues and passes the work over to other teams
Incompetent. Different departments DONT communicate with each other. And they sincerely don’t care about you as a student they want you to suffer so they can take all your moneyy! Should’ve gone to La Trobe
I tried to find help here to refund my school fee, because rmit website is very buggy. Says I didn’t pass the robot check thing. Staff here told me to wait in queue for 45min but didn’t place me in their system, and they tell me to wait another hour. Very unpleasant experience and waste of my time
Passive aggressive people when you get a hold of them. Student Advice Officers are too inpatient to deal with perplexed students.
The wait time on the phone is not acceptable. If you can't provide a service as a service department then you need to fix it.
Worst as hell waited for 3 hours no answer these people don’t value students just behind money and fees
I can't award zero stars here, so I am being generous with the one star. This service is unreachable basically, is there anyone there. I even rang at 2.03 pm from Perth and they had closed the lines for the day. There is no provision for normal people who live interstate, have to work. I just want my refund for the graduation ceremony that I can't attend due to Covid, how hard is that? Considering it was RMIT who suggested pay up front as I can always cancel later. Big mistake.
The call wait time in itself is out of this world, most of the operators try their best to wash off their hands to hang up on you, can't blame them. Not enough service providers for the student body.
Phone queue is horrendous. 45 minutes wait just to cancel an appointment. Next time I may just not bother.
Call RMIT connect, have been waiting for more than 30 minutes.no one answer the phone. OMG
Be prepared to wait for an hour or so at least when you call RMIT connect. Thhe system does not tell you where you are in the queue or how long does it talk to talk to an actual person. You will be left with the most annoying background music waiting for an hour at least. Also the calls are only answered during office hours so if you need urgent help, good luck.
The queue for student support closes at like 4pm and not 5: 30 as per the website link. Needs to be another way to submit document's that need to be sighted for those students who are night class or can't come to rmit connect. When you do get assistance the staff are lovely though.
