Great store, good products (mainly clothes & footwear but some other various specials), great friendly pro-active staff.

As always, nice-looking clothing in this store. Usually buy my camping clothing in here for summer and its affordable too.

Prices good, quality reasonable. Sizes can be an issue, I'm size 10 shoe, lots of other sizes, not many size 10. I guess they sold more of the popular sizes.

Rivers Clearance Outlet in the main (Watton) street in Werribee. Not one of their larger ones.

Very much disappointed as I saw large variety of sandals online advertised at $10 and clearly mentioned $10 online and in-store. I left home with that mindset thinking it was 10 but found same shoes priced at 15 and higher. I asked staff and they said we don't have same prices that are advertised online. We can sell our price what we choose Why does rivers advertise that same price is available on both platforms. Why. Get your facts right guys

After spending nealy half an hour in store, I was asked to leave empty handed and they didn't want to sell the products at the price advertised on their website.

Here is the sequence of events:
I like a jacket online, driven 11 kms to get to the store that has the jacket in stock. When I arrived, the price is different. I'm thinking maybe they advertised a wrong price or the promo is not updated yet.

I informed the attendant that and she says price can be different online. I was then asked to go outside of the store and order it for click and collect. The click and collect option doesn't show the Werribee store as an option.

Then she scans the item and it's the same price as advertised online - all good; albeit they didn't know what the price of the item should be and advertised a wrong (more expensive) price in store.

I proceed to look at a few more items that I was interested to buy while I was there and few mins later, the same attendant comes up to me and asks me if I'm a member and if I got an SMS this morning as apparently that price is only for members. I said I didn't get any SMS and I just saw the price online (it didn't specify if it was a member price) and although she scanned and it came up the same price, she refused to sell the item to me. I said I can sign up and become a member now if that helps but she didn't accept and said it's for members only who received an SMS from them this morning. I was treated as a second class citizen and as if I wasn't paying them what they advertised the item for online.

To the owners, you need to seriously have a hard look at your store and your staff. They don't know what they are doing. Your store doesn't come up on click and collect option even when you have plenty of stock in store (I had the item I need in my hand). Your staff refuse to sell stuff to the customers who take time to drive to your store. If your sales are going down or not as good as other stores, you know why.

I wouldn't bother taking time to write a long review if I wasn't annoyed by your service. I will neither shop at your store anymore nor recommend anyone wasting their valuable time there. I'm not surprised that other customers are sharing a similar experience in your store.

Rivers is good for shoes n dresses for men n women when it is on sales it's real bargain prices

I enjoy Rivers for the great prices bit $50 for a belt surprised me a bit today and only a small selection in the XL range.
I was replacing a rivers belt, so that shows I am a regular shopper.

Online took my money but after two months still have no delivery
Just a huge mess as I chose click and collect online they said all good processing
Then on they had to deliver my purchase
Now they just keep saying thank for my patience
Other company’s can manage to deliver
Now I want a refund and no one will answer me
Never shopping online to Rivers again
They are useless

Need a larger stock range no sizes left & if you order online I've waited a month then wrong sizing recieved & online exclusives can't return to storr

Got item as a present from Rivers. On the receipt it says no refundable but nowhere it says it's non exchangeable. I went all the way to change the size but they said they cannot to it. They said non exchangeable option they may said verbally. Not a good customer service. Now I got a present which I can not even use.

Great specials, great location, clean, JUST better quality clothing than BigW. Plus Kmart by a landslide!

Current sale items were good value.
Lots of stock.
I appreciated a staff member asking the customer behind me to move a little further away from.

Ok however online prices and promotions are not necessarily offered in store and may be online only.

A good store in general, a wide variety of clothing and footwear options including underwear and the like. A good price point for what you get, obviously there are plenty of better offerings elsewhere, you get what you pay for, that's a understatement.

Deceptive discount signs, asked about a member card, staff said no longer have as too much trouble, and they happy no longer have it

Great store and good quality product range and a great value offered on products in a very convenient and accessible location.
