Clean an tidy and moderately priced. The real strange part of the room is the entrance to the shower, which is very narrow and has a step which is over 300mm high. It is set up for disaster in trying to navigate a large step whilst squeezing through the gap

Check-in check-out process is super efficient and contactless. Clean and tidy. However, room is really small and lack some basic essentials such as tissue, hair dryer, shampoo.

My room in the motel is lovely, a great view, a clean room, and has everything that is needed.
However, please note this is above a backpackers hostel, that’s not a bad thing, everyone seems really nice, everyone is having fun, but the loud music coming from downstairs can be a bit bothersome.
I actually would join in the fun, but I’m so exhausted from my week down here, and all I want is to just rest. The music started at 0730 today on a Saturday.
If you can, perhaps ask for a room towards the service station side of the complex. Yes, it’s less of a view but it gives you some rest away from the party atmosphere.

The owners were so nice to deal with, and very welcoming. Budget hotel that provides all the essentials and very clean.

Easy check in and room nice and clean. Shower nice and hot and powerful but some shampoo and body wash bottles would have been handy. Other wise very nice.

Awful place to stay and extremely unprofessional. Requested a receipt for our stay for months now but still not received one, which is illegal. Extremely loud music on Friday & Saturday nights so you can't sleep. Dirty kitchen. Walls are paper thin. Find alternative accommodation and don't stay here!

It is exactly what you pay for. Nobody told us there would be a night club happening right below us.

Great customer service, awesome place to stay the night or just have a quite beer they have a great selection of live music at the bar great food, delish wood fire pizzas excellent place all round get in and give it a go

This is our second stay at River Apartments, the first time was relaxing but the second time was a lot of fun because we spent some time at the new club/beer garden/restaurant which was really enjoyable with great music and a wonderful atmosphere. This establishment also has a shop and bottle shop, what more do you need, everything is here. The staff are extremely friendly and the managers make you feel right at home. We love this place and the beds are very comfortable, which is hard to find in a motel these days. We can't wait to come back again and highly recommend River Apartments.

A group of us stayed for 2 nights, woke up with a tight chest and coughing, later to inspect the room to find mould that has been painted over, definitely are not going back and i would highly suggest to stay away.

Awesome place. Just what Sale needed. The beer garden and outdoor area is amazing for the entire family. The shop and Bottle shop are well priced with great variety. Perfect for every occasion. Staff could not be anymore accommodating. Jacinta and Chris go above and beyond to all patrons.

This place is nice and clean. It has a great kitchen and everything you need if you have a long stay. Free washing machine use. Great car parking area too.

I was looking for a quiet couple nights to stay but unfortunately I wasn't to happy with the owners later in the arvo.they where incredible with the language that was coming out there mouths.police showed up and it wasn't as quiet as I thought anyways better being in town. Id recommend the criterion hotel

Friendly and understanding owners and staff, clean and large kitchen with every kind of tool for cooking, comfy bed and decent pricing.

The motel is being renovated and the one we had been renovated and very clean and everything we needed for a one night stay. Very reasonable priced.

The staff was the worst, the price also very high. The kitchen was too dirty and noisy.
Poor soundproof and too many bugs in the room. It’s too far from the city center. In many ways I don’t reconmand here.

My aunt & I stayed here for 2 weeks and the service was topnotch. The staff were very accommodating & helpful. The place is always clean and the kitchen has everything you can possibly need. If you need a place to stay in Sale, Rivers is highly recommended.
