I went in there a few times and the customer service is so horrible I had to walk out and probably will not come back again. I don't know how they can stay open unless they hire someone else with better customer service than that. I want to give them zero star.

Wanted to purchase about $100 worth of things at 4.35pm. Told can only pay with card at this time of day. Says online they close at 4.50pm? Waste of time. The woman seems to hate her job, she was rushing other customers as i put all items back and left with nothing.

With a Sale on at Rivers in Hargreaves Street, I called in to look at some sneakers and T-shirts. The store seems to be basically self serve however I had no problem locating what I was looking for. With my selections in hand, I made my way to the register to be met by sales assistant Heather B (?) Heather explained that if I was to select another of the particular item I had chosen I could get it for half price, which I did. Woo Hoo! I found Heather’s friendly nature and service excellent. Well done. One for the suggestion box would be for shoe-horns to be located at the fitting stations. I find new shoes can be a bit tricky.

Do we just make up our own opening hours? This isn't a bus stop, store closes before the closing time as well, let's lift our game shall we?

Bought 2 pairs of cargo pants among other things and the zipper fell apart on one pair of pants the same day I wore it so I figured I'd get a refund for faulty goods which ought to be simple but apparently it's a "minor defect" and "easy to repair" so I'm only entitled to store credit.

Bought America Apparel jackets that I took from a rack that stated clearly $20. I asked the girl at the counter to verify that these jackets were in fact $20 each. Staff member reassured me that they were in fact $20 each. My girlfriend payed with her card and when she got home and checked the reciept we discovered that she had been charged $39 each. This fact coupled with a generally hostile attitude from staff would cause me to never spend a penny there again. Sting me once! Enjoy the profits because there will be no second chance available to you ever.

The staff is friendly and very helpful I picked up some bargains. I found miller's combined with Rivers. So that was great.as I'm not from Bendigo I was just visiting.

Rivers clothes some are ok but they have really good quality shoes! Get most of my shoes and some jackets there too!

My husband and I shopped here yesterday. Great buys always happy with products. Got home realised one shoe only in box. Contacted store spoke to Manager, Bernadette amazing help very apologetic. Next thing she has delivered the one shoe personally, an hour to our place. What an amazing thing thing to do. Fantastic customer service, definitely an employee to keep. Thanks again Bernadette very happy and appreciative customers.

You can't order on the River's website because they not actually a part of the Franchise, they are owned by anothercompany. However, it's the same products, just be quick when Sales are on! I was lucky, my boots were 50% and they only had one pair in my size.

Was surprised as how expensive they've become. Saw the exact same jeggins that you get at Kmart, but they were more than double the Kmart price. Same with jackets and cardigans. Lots of the same clothes you see at the cheaper volume department stores, but more expensive.

I went in to have a look most things where on sale and I brought some uggs the lady who was at the counter she was a little bigger she was so rude and was very loud and did not give customers space while shopping and was pushy got a good price on the uggs so not a big deal but was not very professional and polite

Price of shoes doubled at register but can have half if become a member joke wouldn't enter the store again after waiting and listening to manager taking about mobile phones. Customer service training needed.

The lady who served us was very professional and polite. I always buy Rivers shirts and shoes. Their jeans are not that well made. Parking was great and the store is well laid out. Prices were excellent.

Staff are very rude, if I wanted parenting advice with my purchase from the over opinionated rude “customer service” staff I wouldn’t go to Rivers to get it! Suggest you invest in some staff training because offending customers is generally not a good way to keep them.

3 tops had to b returned due to shrinking in first wash, staff was very rude & tried to get out of replacement.

The worst quality shoes I've ever bought.
The heel peeled off after less than a month; as I'd also lost the receipt they refused to replace them.
Rivers product quality was never great but has seriously declined. I will never buy from them again.

Have been a long-time customer of Rivers, however first time purchasing a few hundred dollars' worth of goods via the web-site has left me utterly disappointed and looking elsewhere.

An order was placed, then followed up by me two week's later as the status in my account had not updated. Called and was told that they would get in touch with the warehouse to find out, however failed to contact me with an update.

A further two week's passed and I again had to call to enquire about the status of my order as it had still not changed. The customer service representative advised that the warehouse had not even picked my order yet and they were unable to provide a time-frame.

After a month of waiting, and wasting my time and money, I requested a refund and purchased goods to the same amount from another supplier.

Disappointing.

Rivers is my most favourite "go to" when I'm looking for clothes etc. Have been a member of Rivers since 2006 so I guess that just about says it all.

So expensive now cheap cotton pants with 30% Discount still $25 i bought the same ones last year for $15
