Not worth trying, had a schnitzel pack and it was nothing but bland processed chicken, chips were average everything was either microwaved or drowned in oil

The souvlaki was below average and the noise from all the appliances/machines was so uncomfortable it felt like I was getting a lobotomy through my ear drums. Do not recommend sitting inside

Pick it up quick so chips stay nice and crispy! Order the potato cakes Always great take away go to.

Delicious food and great menu choice. The chicken burgers and potato cakes are always delicious.

Going to get it right tonight. Again:) The whole family loves the chicken, potato cakes and roasted potatoes. Everything is so tasty and Charlie professional and polite.

Me and my brother have been coming here ever since we where young and the service and food are always amazing, chicken man's attention to detail and dedication to his craft makes this easily the best Charcoal Chicken restaurant in the area. It is obvious that they highly value their customers as they have made the effort to memories me and my brothers order's.
I have tasted many chips in Australia and abroad and no chips have ever come close to the perfectly salted chips here.
I highly recommend anyone who loves good food and quality service to eat at the Rivergum Rooster.

Saw an employee picking his nose than touching the food I used to be a customer here never again

The chicken was absolutely delicious, the smoky flavour is thru the meat and not just rubbed onto the skin like most places seem to be.

Well run, youthful service, seems like a good solid family owned and operated.

Spacious and quite neat and clean, plenty of seats inside for a Take Away place.

More importantly, charcoal chicken were moist, crispy skin (addictive to the mouth, bad for the fat count) nicely cooked, packed and value for money.
