River Village Motel & Holiday Units reviews
10Peaceful area. But the showerheads are blocked with calcium. The water is non drinkable. Microwaves are missing the turn disc.
It might be old and need work but was comfortable and rooms were spacious. Loved the water pressure in the shower and comfortable bed. Quiet location close to river. The owner Kim, went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. I will be staying there again.
Well price accommodation close to town and the river, pool area was great untill some breeders brought there children ️
The unit was very dirty, dusty, smelly, I paid the highest fee to have better room but it was the worst one, we all got dust allergy in the next morning. No clean water.
Rooms were very dirty, out dated, and smelt stale. Bbqs were also very dirty, and unusable. Very basic budget accomodation. Worms in shower and old cocoons on door frames, would not go back very poor. Only plus was quiet location and right next to the river!
Worst place ever.im 13 and i have to stay in that for 7 days. Water is gross. BUT THE POOL IS SOOO NICE.
Sub-standard accommodation in the middle of nowhere - checked-in to find un-vaccumed carpets, greasy dishes in the cupboards, no quilt covers on the quilts (on the beds), rodent faeces on the bathroom walls and the most uncomfortable beds you can imagine.
The owner Kim, was very defensive and didn't want to listen or accept the feedback - she put it all back on us and denied the issues raised. She also neglected to advise us and/ or have clear signage in our rooms that the tap water was NOT drinkable and we (I am 7 months pregnant, my fiance & 2 yr old daughter) all drank that disgusting, acrid water during the 1st 24 hours we were there, until our family happened to enlighten us otherwise. We all had an adverse reaction to the poor water quality and was concerned it may affect my pregnancy also. Bottom line is - find a holiday group rental instead! For the $160 per night (2 bedroom) and $133 per night (1 bedroom) our family each paid per night, we could've rented a 4 star house and really enjoyed our NYs celebration! What a disappointment!
It was accommodation. That's it. Although the new owners are slowly in the process of renovations on all the units. Interesting to see what it's like when they're done.
Very outdated, can feel springs in your back from beds, sorest back ever. Shower blocks up (2 sec showers) old and disgusting, no sheets on the bed or doona covers. Nails sticking out of play equipment, not very safe. Never again.
