Ripplebrook Winery reviews
43Great place to have a delicious authentic pizza and wine. With pretty views over their vineyard and rolling hills. I really love the cosy atmosphere and that they use local produce!
Love Ripplebrook. Delicious authentic food in beautiful surrounds. Lots of space for kids and groups.
We dropped in on a foggy, hazy and wet afternoon, but the wine and conversation with Catina (owner!) more than warmed our hearts! As we went through the tasting list, she shared that they had decided to name each vintage the names of her family members which spoke of family, life, generations and life’s journey. The journey this winery had taken over the last 10 years to grow from a “tin shed” to one with a restaurant, beautiful outdoor casual family friendly setting under large trees, is a wonderful one. Family friendly!
The wine is wonderful - we particularly loved the Rose, Chardonnay (unoaked), the Pinot and Merlot
We held a small celebration at this winery last weekend. All the feedback from my guests was great. Everyone loved the food. Really top quality antipasto, and fantastic pizzas.
Also the wine is really nice. Great friendly service. And extremely accommodating. Highly recommend you book before you go, and take a big appetite.
Awesome place to relax and taste a really good wine. Perfect wine, delicious local food, friendly staff - can't be any better
Beautiful family, great setting, excellent pizzas and fantastic service. Great beer selection. We will definitely be back for more when we pop over from Tassie again.
Stunning rolling hills filled with vineyards - a gorgeous location. And exceptional food. Can't wait to visit again!
Beautiful views, beautiful wine, and beautiful food often using ingredients straight out of their own garden. Ripplebrook winery has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that can be attributed to the easy-going owners and staff as much as the scenery. The venue is perfect for small events of up to 20-30 people, in fact I've had them host events for me, twice!
First experience here today, beautiful food, Relaxing atmosphere, absolutely lovely waitresses. Will be back again!
Only place to answer their phone in the area, hence the reason going. Took a booking for 2 half an hour in advance whilst busy. Moved our table outside into the sun onto thier manicured lawns. A selection of wines is offered alongside tasty platters and great pizzas. Service was A+, relaxed chilled vibe
Arrived at the time we booked for, but the staff had booked us in at the wrong time. We were asked to be seated at a table, but because of the booking stuff up, another waitress tried to move us from this table, which was a really awkward experience. Had to ask two different staff members for menus. Staff continually brought the wring meals to the table and missed meals completely. It took an hour and twenty minutes for the first meal to arrive. One person in the party paid for their meal but was later told their meal "wasn't on the menu" - very strange considering that it was ordered and paid for from the menu. Wait staff almost refused to replace the $28 pizza for an $8 bowl of chips. The staff did not apologise for any of the confusion, they just kept trying to explain that the food was lost. It was a terrible experience and we won't be back.
This place has a lovely friendly feel. You could spend all day there on the couch drinking those wines and eating woodfired pizzas. Loved the odd rogue chicken!
Great place to sit in the grounds with food and wine! The antipasto board, pizza, and chips were delicious, and the wine went down way too easily. Had a wonderful afternoon and fully recommend it to anyone:)
A pretty, family run winery and restaurant. The wood fired pizza was excellent. The setting is lovely for a relaxed and stylish lunch - available inside or at tables scattered outside on the lawns under shady trees and umbrellas.
The 2014 wooded Chardonnay is very nice as is the 2013 Pinot noir (I didn't try everything but there are several other varieties available). Apparently all wines are produced by the mother and daughter team who own the vineyard, from fruit they pick themselves on the block. I was impressed and bought half a case to take home.
I will visit again next time I am in this picturesque corner of Victoria.
Loved it! Gorgeous surroundings but still safe and easy for the kids to run around, play quoits etc. The food was wonderful, especially the jindi cheeses and the cracking genuinely Italian pizzas. The wines were great too. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful stress free ambience awesome wood fired Italian pizza. Excellent wines grown and made on the property
Bad service in a beautiful family friendly location. Coffee took 30 minutes to arrive, didn't know what a Piccolo was, diners in the next take were asked to bring our food in, had to go get water and glasses by ourselves. Don't have any sparkling wine even though it's a winery and there are lots of other wineries in the region. The saving grace is the location, play area and the great company we had
Loved the chardonnay. What a relaxing time: listening to disco music, walking amongst the vines.
Celebrated a friend's birthday here. Lovely setting, great pizzas and delicious antipasto board. Loved the wine.
Beautiful scenery, lovely family who runs this winery. Delicious food and really good wines! Definitley worth going there! Thanks Catena and Alysha for having us xxx
