Stopped by for their lobster cheese toastie and it did not disappoint

The lobster and zucchini combo was so fresh and real great to devour on a hot day like today. Also the bread they use is definitely on point, not to mention the drizzle of lobster oil when they serve it on the bread for you.

Not quite sure if its aussie standard as im new in melbourne. But the lady serving today (who’s also in register) just picked up the cheese toastie in the display section with her bare hands that she used to touch other things? And placed it in the toaster. She also kept opening the toastie in the toaster with her bare hands to see if its cooked. She was also having nail acrylics which can foster lots of bacteria. If its normal, then pls disregard this comment.

They are pretty generous with the truffle.

The truffle and cheese toastie is one of THE BEST toasties I have ever had! Delicious cheese and truffle filling, between buttered sourdough and topped with truffle salt and shaved truffle!

Came in for the Truffle toastie and it was absolutely amazing, staff where very friendly and very fast. Will definitely be coming back again soon

Legitimately best cheese toasty I’ve had. I had the standard Ripe Cheese toasty that had the tastiest mozzarella and hints of blue cheese on sourdough. There was a truffle option too. Other than the toasties there are plenty of cheeses to take home.

RIPE cheese has incredible knowledgeable and patient staff, and I love that their cheeses are all Australian! Definitely recommend for anyone wanting Aussie cheese specifically. Also, their toasties slap but this has been said many times already.

Arrived at lunch time, around 1 pm, looking for a good toasted sandwich. Based on reviews I thought this was the spot and I was not disappointed. One singular cheese toastie with it's delicious three cheese filling oozing on each bite. Full of flavor this is not the slice of bega and two slaps of bread from home. This was an abundance of flavor in each bite. An absolute must for anyone who loves a perfect cheese toastie.

Adore cheese, always have. Spent two years working as the Apprentice Cheese Goddess for The Cheese Shop Deli at Prahran Market. Still an apprentice, learning more about Australian cheeses. This is the place for these. Boss and staff are a delight, always have time for conversations profound or trivial, including sharing favourites. Such a pleasure to arrive home and find my cheeses wrapped beautifully. And oh, the bliss when eating them!

I have luckily ordered and got "The Most Truffle'd Cheese Toastie" before its end season, and then followed Hakim's instruction to cook it at home. It's more than a delicious food, it's an amazing ART!
