Ringwood Golf reviews
22The course is in great condition. Fairways well cared for and the greens provide a fair challenge.
Mr Fox was our Covid takeaway & the beautiful gold course was our stomping ground. We still had to to Mr Fox for Breakfast or lunch. Great food!
One of the very best public golf courses in the East suburbs. Course management & maintenance very good continuing to address any problems that crop up. Cafe is a great place to refresh & relax after an enjoyable round.
Went and saw the clubs Pro; Darren for an emergency lesson to fix a poor technique I'd picked up. Darren was straight on to it and set me straight. Great work.
Great courses
Reasonable price
Friendly staff and area are good for play
We call this place Royal Ringwood.
Great course and well kept. Just wish the cafe stayed open a little later for the Friday arvo crowds.
Absolutely a good course to play on any occasion.
The lady on the reception was very nice.we were warmly welcomed and arranged properly and she event wait 10 minutes lobger than we had to return the cart. Forgot to aske her name but she has a short hair nice smile.
The course is properly maintain, the green is clean and challenging. Some fairway under reparation but still playable.
Highly recommended.
Fore! Nice place for brunch and a view to the golf course, putting green closeby. Good quality brunch meals.
Challenging course with excellent fairways and green conditions despite with recent wet weather.
Great course, it is in the middle of patch works and etc but green is still very nice, great view around the area as well. It seems they have a goodpro shop and run by council as well. I would love to be a member!
For sucb an incredibly busy public course the condition of this place is amazing.
Not the toughest test of golf by any means but fairways are always in great condition and the course layout is interesting. Greens are slow but decent.
Course is in very good condition even through winter. Greens are great although they can suffer from the average hack who doesn't fix their pitch marks. It pays to book as this is a very busy public course, which says a lot about the work they do to keep up the condition.
The staff here are great.
Onsite cafe is good with tasty food and coffees, but they close too early unless you get an morning tee time
Went for a round of 9 holes (16/5) the person in the pro shop was close to useless and almost rude.
I must say, Ringwood golf club has come along way over 4 decades of visiting this course.
Gone has the wet stagnet water lies on fairways and bunkers. Drainage has been rectified to now become a high class golf course greens are true and excellent groundman ship of continued fairways and greens and top up of sand for bunkers. Time keepers are diligent in their jobs for start times and extremely professional in service.
Great job team
Nice course. Very well maintained with very smooth fairways. The fairways are close together too so it's hard to loose your ball in the trees if you have a terrible right hook like I do
Course is great and love playing here. Only issue is you have hardly any chance to get an early booking and they have pushed most people onto online bookings. As an individual player they never have any spot free till after 9am generally. The roster needa to be worked on better.
Ringwood Golf is a Public Course with a Private Club presentation. Great long fairways with curving doglegs, well placed and challenging par 3 holes plus splendid greens that will cause, many moments of serious consideration.
The whole course is laid out amongst well established trees and bushes.
Staff are first rate and run a supurb Pro Shop.
And that is not all? Why not call into Mr Fox Cafe. This is next to 18th hole.
It has a great reputation for all types of catering. Inside and outside facilities are available for weary golfers; It just finishes the day on a high.
Mind you I cannot vouch for the quality of your game.
That is up to you
Course is in very good condition but tee times are too close together and make for slow play while waiting for groups ahead.
Just walked the back 9 with a mate and it played alright considering the recent rain we've had. A couple of holes were heavier under the feet - which is standard for this time of year - but generally those areas were roped off which was good.
Definitely one of the better maintained public courses I've played on over the last couple of months. Some holes even looking better than a few at my home club (Heritage)
I go to the coffee shop there. Food is good & staff pleasant. Easy parking. Do not have to play golf to eat at the cafe.
